A compass is redundant for a small survival kit when you have the sun to use as a compass. Takes up needed space.

Very Nice Kit. Use a CLIP ON shoulder strap for carrying the Ammo Can.
Throw in a good Leatherman. It will have scissors, screwdrivers, wrenches, knives, etc. All in a compact space.
