The PNW Coast dropper post offers a little bit of suspension. Pretty good for XC or gravel type riding. When you decide to explore rougher terrain, do what we did waaay back in the day before the squishy bits. Stand up and use the suspension God gave ya! Your arms and legs. Trial's riders rarely use suspension. Arms and legs wont help you go faster, but it will teach you better technique. Theres far too much complexity, junk to maintain and go wrong on modern bikes. K. I. S. S. Bikes are more reliable and last longer this way. Im a mechanic, ALL that junk is job security for me. Gotta love it! 🤑🤑

The masking tape, once taken apart and unraveled, has much more utility and can bond things, and the string could be used to tie shoes, tie a bag of bread together. string has many uses. So according to your own analogy: the full suspension is there to be pretty, while the hardtail has utility and actual usage if your willing to put the work in to unravel it.

The fastest bike i own is a no suspension bike 48 t front chain ring with slicks ive recorded my highest speed on flat sidewalk at 31 mph and it is terrifying but awesome.i swap over to my off road tires and keep up with expensive brands like trek gt and many others in the trails.where it lacks is comfort and forgiveness.its very rigid and slows down on uphill bumpy sections.its literally a garbage picked diamond back that i swapped the bars and seat post to carbon fiber and been sending it ever since 😂
All depends on riding style and terrain! Personally I’d prefer an X2 or DPX2 but lots of riders prefer the lower weight and do just fine on factory DPS 🤷♂️
@@batemansbikeco People put way too much emphasis on bike weight especially if they're going out and buying a 140mm trail bike lol. They already got the wrong bike for absolute efficiency, might as well get some performance out of that suspension.
