How to flash your ECU using Tactrix (GT86/BRZ etc.)

- Just a short video with my phone. Of course the memory was full and the recording interrupted just as the flash finished. Not trying to hide anything. ;-) Process should be clear in anycase.
A nice guy named Jack posted a similar video of this in a Facebook group a long time. So credits and thanks to Jack for that! I'm using almost the same method, except I leave the ECU in "programming state" between read and write.

Great tutorial! btw Have you managed to add some of exhaust pops to it even when decelerating? Would love to try that just don't have maps for it
I ran into some problem with OFT roms, when I tried to flash it with tactrix using stock def I did a check like you mentioned and find out some of the values are not correct, but it is the correct calid should I just go ahead and flash it? Thanks!

When I try to open my edited Rom from rom raider onto Ecuflash , it gives me error saying UNKNOWN Rom ID when I try upload the edited one to ecuflash that was saved from rom raider

Question for 'GT86 Dude'. If an ECU is locked with a Password, does 'Tactrix' solution allow me to remove the Password (without) knowing it? I bought an 02 Subaru Impreza STI, I want to get the car Remapped, but I can't get past the 'Password' set. I want to avoid having to buy a new ECU.
Will this fix the CEL with traction control light and rough idle problem?

I wanted to just change my fan sensor so it opens up earlier. My car is using stock ecu but was previously reflashed. From your video I can just read my rom, find the thing I need and make the changes and write it to ecu.. Will this do anything with my current map? Thank you in advance.
