I looked up the code my bus gave me and it looks like it is something to do with a component of the SCR system getting plugged up, which explains the increase in NOx gasses as the SCR isn't able to do its job because of this. As such, the MIL turned on.
It's been about 4.5 years since I last rode an IC CE. Last time was in July 2018 when my hometown hosted the annual Farm Technology Days event. They had school buses running for the farm tour on all three days of the event.
I wonder how this one drove we still have quite a few 2012’s on routes and yet they have maxxforce 7’s and get this… so we were on the 2016 blue bird last week and both of the engine lights came on then half of the power on the bus went out so my driver couldn’t see the gauges and this was at like 6:40 In the morning the headlights still worked… so we are on a 2012 ce with the 7 again somehow the engine check lights never came on and the dash lights never turned off but one day the emergent buzzer went off because the latch wasn’t fully shut and nobody was sitting in that seat so the bus driver shut it and that’s was the only problem we experienced on a ce… however the blue bird has multiple problems…
I still rie an ic ce handicap wheelchair lift in the back, chrome grill. Maxxforce DT. I think it is a 2013 ic ce. Bus 5. I go to northwestern school district in albion Pennsylvania. It replaced the old bus 5. The old bus 5 was a 2010 or something maxxforce 7 handicap wheelchair lift in the front yellow grill
Yeah the IC heat management system is inferior to Thomas I think, Can't say never been on a Thomas but I did start one of 2010 IC CE Handis with a Maxxforce DT and the wait to start light was on for a long time but then it finally went away and it started but it was cold that day like at least in the 30's
@@BusMaster99 I grew up with the system and The noises and voice prompts especially trigger fond memories. I also had an incident with CCM where it went off during route and I ran to the back because everyone was obvlious. I pushed the button and stopped the horn from honking. I love CCM

I last rode a CE with a DT on March 13, 2020.
My last time was in 2015.
Why The Hydraulic Brake Sound Is Peculiar Or, Some Kind of Pearl?
SICK!
Good old DT

This was slow. This must be a 200 horse since it was far from what I expect out of a DT.
Ours dt’s are faster even our maxxforce 7’s are faster
What Is Hydraulic?
0:06. What is that sound? It sounds like the bus is running faster. I've been trying to figure that out for years.
That sound is the brake accumulators building pressure.
@@BusMaster99 Ok.

Does this one talk? Or just beep
Oh it talks. We only have a few buses in our fleet that don't talk or don't have speakers installed in them at all.
@@BusMaster99 Wish you did a Child Check on this CE
@@carwashslayer4235 Why are you so obsessed with CCM? I'm just curious.

Nice!
It's been a while since you drove a IC CE, I wonder how many IC CEs are left in your fleet since I belive they have been getting newer C2s.
Not many at all.
@@BusMaster99 I bet this one is a turd as well as the other IC CEs in your fleet.
@@johndeerefan725 Big time. It has an on and off MIL and uses a lot of diesel.

Hydraulic? Ha, It Might Be To Lose Sting.
Yeah it's hydraulic brakes.
Hopefully It Is.
