- My route bus for 2023-24 is currently in the body shop so I opted to drive the oldest spare as it's been sitting all summer and isn't being driven much so I figured I'd drive it until I get mine back. It does have a few minor issues, but those should be worked out over time.

@@BusMaster99 can't hate the sound of a DT engine by any means nessesarily. Such an iconic sounding diesel engine right up there with the Cummins, Powerstroke, Duramax, and Detroit engines
Doesn't look like its been driven hardly at all..if my memory serves I believe it had around 99k on it when you had it last, and that was back in the early winter. I had thought you previously mentioned this bus was getting tossed this summer, maybe I'm crazy. Hope things are going well for you.
That was the plan, but we still can't get a hold of new big buses. We only got 5 new buses this year and they're all small buses that run on gas.
@BusMaster99 I feel ya there. We haven't got new big buses in several years here. The company that runs my hometown's buses has been badly mismanaged since it was sold in 2016, to the point where we do not even have the money to fix what we've got. And what we have are several 2012 ICs sitting with major engine issues. While I know they have issues by themselves, having been neglected and abused by our drivers and mechanics for several years doesn't help either.

Newest big buses we have are 2021s. Not sure when we'll get more, but they owe us at this point because we were scheduled to get a few buses last year including 2 more 40ft wheelchair Thomas Saf-T-Liner C2s.
@BusMaster99 why don't yall buy from IC Or Bluebird?
@@Therailfanoffical IC from my experience is junk. Never driven a Blue Bird, but I rarely see any diesels from them nowadays and it's truly sad seeing most of the newer ones running on gas.
