Glass Tiger were one of my favourite groups of the 80's a great leader Allan was and still writes great songs Canadians should be proud we have great bands in Canada.
This was the first song I ever heard from Glass Tiger. I was around 16 years old, and heard it on the radio. I bought 'Diamond Sun' on cassette, and wound up collecting their CDs. I'd love it if they wrote some new material, as they're still just as talented and interesting as they were all those years ago.
There aren't words for how much I love this song. Listened to this on loop the first week after I moved away from home. Still hits me hard 2 decades later. 🇨🇦
Love this song and this group! Such great memories! I remember seeing Alan Frew in the hospital in Newmarket in the early 80s when he actually worked there. Didn't really know who he was although he did look familiar to me. Probably was best to not have recognized him in retrospect. Might have gone a little crazy! Will always listen to this group's music. Very happy that 97.3 plays their songs on a very frequent basis.

Very Scottish sounding with the woodwinds and electric violins. Now just add a little bagpipe. This song was kind of underrated and forgotten my the mainstream radio stations but hey, "My Song" will rise again.
