To the younger people who say “I never told my mom/dad/parents because they’d never let me out again”, that’s a GOOD thing. Independence is awesome, I understand. I was like that as a teenager too. However, that’s the point. You might not be able to go out for a long time, but that’s for YOUR SAFETY. As an adult and parent, I get it. It’s a good thing to have parents who care enough and are checking up on you, who want to do everything to ensure your safety.

A lot of the stories on these channels that are technically well written are also way overwritten. Good writing doesn't mean you have to put in everything and the kitchen sink, or use three long elaborate adjectives where one will do.
