Does this work if I change the weight paint of bones before running the addon? I tried adjusting the weight paint on a few bones that were causing distortion on my mesh, and it ended up causing my mesh to deform more when I tried to add an animation. So, just wondering before I put a bunch of effort into doing this if i can adjust the weight paint.
I can never seem to get my own characters to rig and animate without weird deformation around the armpit and waist.

I'm still a little confused.. I mean, when we have got animation from mixamo, then how to add animation? I've changed the rig but when it's played it still returns to its original motion. is there some kind of keyframe or something else?

No you can not export as mp4 format.Just import the mixamo into blender,and export the animation as mp4 out of the blender render.

Hi, I have created push up animation, and created plane as floor, how to make it exactly on the floor, there is always space or some parts of the character sinks in the floor.
Does someone know what the bones above the characters head are and in front of the feets?
Excellent tutorial. I'm adding the rig to my own character and animation, but I don't see how you control arm joint rotation. The fingers can be independently moved with individual finger controls, but I don't see how you move/rotate the arms/legs. Have you/can you create a short video on using controls on the Mixamo rig?
I figured it out. To get arm/leg rotation in Blender, you select the rig and in pose mode and select the individual control. Click the Mixamo tab and increase the IK-FK switch to 1. It works similar to the rigify armature. Thanks.

Why is it when after I change the character in pose mode and looks to be altered in Object mode, that when I export my changes are gone?
Its a character I created in Blender, then uploaded to Mixamo, then back to Blender, but now trouble keeping my changes, probably something simple as I don't use Blender that often.

Would you be able to use make human and pick the clothes you wants and then just upload it to mixamo and get the animation from there then upload it to blender so you can save it as mp4?
When we pick the clothes from makehuman and upload it to mixamo,unfortunately we can not see textures. Except it, you can import all animation into Blender , and need to get render to save mp4.
after create control rig, the poses that have been changed at will cannot be displayed during the render. So it only renders the old pose and not the changed one. Why is that? Do you have to set something there? Thx
Before creating control rig , disable the animation box. Just create control rig.
