Here's a helpful tip from a professional animator who's worked with Tim Burton. Do the pose lined up to your reference every 10 or 12 frames or so. And then I know you're not going to rotate all around the pose. You just want it to match one camera angle but still rotate all around it and make those poses nice shape. Then go through and sort of break down the in between poses, adjusting your character and everything. Because if you go every frame by every frame you can like force some gimbal log or weird deformation of the geometry relative to that single angle still.
@@Marvel_Motions ohhh that's amazing!!!:D, I'm basically just starting so I was wondering if you could give me any tip, something that made your animations significantly improve kind of tip?
big tip for anyone in the comments here : dont go frame by frame right away. do it every 12 frames. then go back over it and see where more keyframes are needed, place a keyframe inbetween (at the 6 frame mark) , then repeat this process until you're adding in the last little details that DO need to be frame by frame. you'll save yourself a lot of time and it'll be easier to adjust animations when there's not a million keyframes when there's no need for them. (every 12 frames because it divides easily into 6,3 and 1. if you want a REAL rough set of keyframes to start with you can even do every 24 frames,48 frames and so on, but that's generally too big a gap to really be helpful (assuming a 24 or 30 fps timeline))
can you do a tutorial on how you were like able to animate the 3d model like where did all the circles and squares come from, and can you also do a tutorial on how you do the very good lighting and quality the part you showed at the ending, and also how do you do camera movement. I’m a beginner 🥲
I believe they have a plugin or app that turns your raw footage into an animated rig that you can bind to your mesh. Don't remember what it's called, but I also like this method for starting so that you can learn it yourself rather than having tech to do it for you.
K great tutorial . . . But how do I actually do it? How do I find the background image thing and move around the model like that and pretty much everything
Thats brutally time consuming vs a mocap suit though. Is there a way to maybe get a ruff animation first to then adjust using modern AI? Have you made a video on this?
I forgot the name, but there is an apo where you can import videos for mocap Some big youtuber made a video. It's a little rough but cleaning it up takes less time than manually doing this
You are doing it fine. Blender plays frame by frame. You'll have to either find a way to sync to audio on your playback speed. Also note the frame rate of your video and render using the same frame rate. It should work just fine
a beginner like me took the whole day for this 4 sec move, welcome to 3d world
Im animating in 3 years and this 2 sec gives me a hard day

Who will adjust the tangents?
Wait.. people go frame by frame in 3D? I thought only mocap did that
@@ComplexAce beginners fall into that pitfall fairly often
@thegamedevcave Makes sense..
Should i place keyframe every 12 frames even if i use 30fps? Should i change it to every 15 frames?
Very nice to see a tutorial where it’s like “wanna do this? It takes some hard work but here’s how to do it” instead of “go to mixamo”
He actually did say "you want this but cant find it on mixamo" 😂
This is actually one of the best ways because you basically do it in 2-D 😂😂❤
I had this theory in my head but I didn’t know if it could work with animated videos, thank you for proving me that it does!
You gained a new subscriber bro
Thank you very much i wanted help on this but i still need to learn ima leave my thinking and real performance here
Bro each.. frame!!! Holy!!!! Thats a lot of work
Its technically rotomatiom, yes, as in, Rotoscope 3d Animation, the old technique you spoke of, was just rotoscoping.
Um actually
I’m still here trying to make a decent looking model💀

i download models off sketchfab cause i haven’t learned how to make them yet💀

When I heard "Do this for every frame".... I was like "Bye!"
Don't have to, just do it on all the key poses
You can also now use Ai to turn the video into motion data
Ai is a lil bit jittery so better spend the time creating it from scratch rather then fixing ai shit xD
