    Whether I dont lose weight fast or gain muscles, Doing workout in the morning really makes me feel accomplished. I feel good before starting my work.

    Working out on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning, is not a good idea. You're setting yourself up for a poor workout. And the idea that " training on empty " first thing in the morning for added fat loss, has been debunked. Early am. workouts will give you more energy for the day, for most people. And late night eating has been shown to be detrimental in regards to effective weight loss....and the doctor is also right about the Type II diabetes issue. Have a small snack or small breakfast in the morning, then train, then have a larger post workout meal.

      I just tried working out in the morning instead of after work. I normally don’t eat breakfast normally. I don’t really have an appetite when I wake up. It gives me an appetite. Should I just try to eat a little before anyway or just keep doin what I’m doin?

      @@RECKLESSAFRO A LOT of people are that way in regards to not having a first thing in the morning appetite....I mean LOTS of people. Training on a FULL stomach is a bad idea, as so much blood is in your stomach digesting food. Training on EMPTY is a bad idea as you're blood sugar is low, and it hurts performance. I've experienced both ways.... The best idea is a small snack, maybe 200 - 250 calories...of some carbs, but more protein. This is enough to raise blood sugar and energy levels to train, but not enough create a full stomach and all the downsides of trying to train on full. Also, it's best to have a window of at least 30 to 40 minutes after the small snack, to train.as much of the smallish snack will be digested. Fluids first thing in the morning are a good idea. as after sleeping for 7 - 8 hours, the body is dehydrated. Some good smallish first in the morning pre - workout snacks are like: A small protein bar and a half of glass of milk. Or 2 scrambled eggs, a slice of toast, and a large glass of water. Or, a cup of yogurt, a small banana, and a 1/2 cup of milk, and so on... Smallish protein rich snacks with a few carbs, that will mostly digest in 30 - 40 minutes, and you're ready to roll. I've tried many times to train on empty....even walk long distances on empty...and boy do I underperform when I do... I remember this feeling from the Army,, when we would march or do calisthenics before morning chow. The entire platoon was dragging ass. It wasn't because of tiredness from sleep, per se, it was low blood sugar mostly, but also dehydration. The idea that training on empty " burns more fat," sounds to the uninitiated like reasonably good idea, but it has been thoroughly DEBUNCKED.

    When we build muscle we open up appropriate glycogen stores so when we eat after the workout opposed to before we have more stores for that glycogen to go. That’s my guess anyways.

    Do you need to eat after? I workout 05 but eat at 09 is that good or do I need something before
