Dark Souls holds a weird spot in my heart. On one hand, it's a beautiful piece of work and makes me feel all sorts of odd emotions the majority of games can't make me feel. It's like a nihilistic dream, being both beautiful and horrifying, hopeful yet somber. On the other hand, it makes me rage like a bad series of matches in a CoD game. You can go from enjoying the wonderful painting-like vistas to getting backstabbed by a laggy shitlord with some super sweaty tryhard PVP meta build. You get what I mean? It's both a thoughtful work of art, and an irritating fuckfest full of toxic assholes. What a bizarre series.
@@fsasdadas in DS2 you can be invaded even if you aren't human, which annoyed me a lot. I play online because I enjoy reading people's messages, but despise pvp. At least the other player gets to enjoy an easy kill I guess

Life is less scary even though i dont have glasses and can barely see. Im slowly undoing and learning about my own toxicity here and there day by day. I miss you Ian, and all the rest of you from high school and beyond. I learned from the flame, and about how it works, everyday i grow closer to being strong and the me i wanna be. Just like in dark souls And just like in that Dark cold lonely place, i will march through life learning, breathing, and refusing to go hollow....
