TLoZ has to be one of my most favorite video game series of all time, along with Kingdom Hearts. Majora's Mask was actually my first game in the series. I was always attracted to games with a darker side and meaning to them, and this one hit me spot on. I remember being about 6 when I played it. I would beg my older brother to lend me his N64 just to play this game, and no matter how many times he would tell me it wasn't exactly a game for my age, I'd still want to play it. He had to walk me through it the first time, which is a memory I won't ever forget. It's hard to bond with someone who's 11 years older than you, but we somehow managed to make good memories. Sadly, after we moved the N64 we had was broken, and we lost the cartridges along with it. When the 3DS remake came along, I bought it instantly, and I played it non stop. It was like playing through rebooted memories. It made me feel younger. It reminded me of my brother a lot. We don't spend much time together now that he's not around, and while I'm glad that he's successful in his life, and doing so much better, I miss the few key moments we had when we bonded. This game means a lot to me, just because it holds one of the fondest memories I've ever held close to my heart, and this video just sounds like my younger memories playing in my head. Thanks for making this, and bringing back a memory I almost forgot I had.

Like one thing I never noticed was the boss masks when they go up the tree their bodies are all kid versions of the masked salesman, and the quotes each say when you are trying to get the fierce diety mask, they say some DEEP stuff!

I have always loved this game for the life lesson it taught me as a kid and how it helped me. when my uncle killed himself this game taught me that sometimes people die and there are times when we can't save everyone no mater how much we want to. this is still something I struggle with to this day and knowing I can't help and save everyone hurts but we need to move on and live life to the fullest even if we all perish someday. It's kind of poetic how replaying these games and what the characters tell Link throughout the game hit very different once you have some life experience. Well done with this mix. Makes me remember the times I would go to my local Blockbuster with my mom and she would rent out this game for me. Okay, true story. Literally yesterday I was going through my TH-cam subscriptions and clearing away my useless ones because I'm trying to be more productive and only follow channels that add meaning to my life. I had over 130 subscriptions. It took a long time, but I went through each channel and considered its value to me. Some channels were hard to unsubscribe to like Pewdiepie, but I did what must be done. I get down to around 35 subscriptions and it's getting real tough. I scroll down to Marble Pawns. My mouse hovers over the unsubscribe button, but I get massive internal tension. I think of all the times I have gleefully listened to Zeldawave in the past year. I remember all the nostalgia it gifted me. All those times it helped my mood and reminded me of why I love The Legend of Zelda. Now my mind is concrete; There's no way I'm unsubscribing to Marble Pawns.

This morning, I woke up to discover this long-overdue sequel, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

Hi Marble Pawns... your rendition of Song of Healing brought tears to my eyes. Literally. I'm sitting here crying, though not because I'm sad. But because you took something that already meant so much to me and many others, and you made it different. You made it beautiful in its own way. It's made me reflect on the things I've been through and how Zelda and other games have always been a sort of escape from the troubles, the suicidal thoughts, the depression that never stopped gnawing at me all throughout my younger years. Thankfully I've been freed up from a lot of what once held me down, and I've experienced healing. For the past two years, I've felt happy, content to exist and appreciate the beauty of life. That beauty is so hard to see sometimes - I'm sure there's many who can identify with feeling purposeless, with feeling depressed, with feeling useless, hopeless - but music like this helps to soothe, it helps to show there is beauty in the world. Music is a large part of why I'm still here and why I'm healed. So, genuinely, thank you for your work. A great tribute to an amazing franchise (and particular game in Majora's Mask) that has touched many lives.

If you use a JP keyboard with predictive typing you should be able to search the suggestions for it typed out like that, instead of kana. "You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?" These words have sparked so many theories and meant so much to me throughout my entire life. I've been looking for a playlist like this for a while now. Thank you.
Edit: In addition, I feel this leans into the theme of Majora's Mask so much, like Link's just losing it the entire time.Thank you again for an awesome playlist.

Listening to this was such an amazing treat and I've waited for soo long
Fun fact: I actually had just started listening to zeldawave 1 since it was on a Playlist when the notification popped up, so imagine my shock that after two years I finally got the follow up while I was listening to the first version. Couldn't have any better timing :)
(it was the notification that it was premiering in 30m not the actual premier)

Well up to that point , the game had a level of anxiety and confusion stripping you of your hero status from previous game which was a little saddening when playing until some relief was given to the player by entering the astral observatory

I have so many wonderful memories of listening to zeldawave and hoping for a zeldawave 2. I'd listen to zeldawave while I studied in college and to help fall asleep. I discovered zeldawave about a year ago and just a few months ago the nostalgia was too much and I went and bought an N64 with OOT and Majoras Mask and all my favorite Mario games. Thank you so much for all the work you put in. I'm encouraging others to spread the word on places like reddit and facebook and twitter. Thank you for this wonderful masterpiece

This game scared me when i was a kid, (mostly because i found out about the Ben drowned creepypasta), but also there was a lot of curiosity that finally convince me to play it. It became my favorite Zelda game, and not only that, it also became my comfy game.
I play it when i just want to relive some good old memories.
    (Sorry if bad english).
