I believe you played that very smart. I’m sure you would have made money around her price for all but for me that’s a long road to sell all that. Seemed like breaking it down to individual piles got you better prices. Go back in a few months I think her prices may get even better.

I bought a bulk lot of D56 a couple of years ago and still have a few pieces. The problem is that they have so much detail like little signs or flags etc. and many were missing from the ones I bought. it takes a long time to inspect them. However, I did make out well with the ones I did sell. But it definately takes a lot of time.
Those other pair of Doc martens in the beginning are also worth a lot! Saw some being sold around $300-$400. Their a special art edition That Doc Martens did back in 2015, those ones are called "Doc Martens William Blake 1460". There's a bunch of different art styles for them and most pairs are worth well over $250-$300!

Sorry but 4200 is an insane price these are always broken or chipped, missing pieces even from the people who say they took perfect care of their stuff. For the buyers they tend to like perfect. It is profitable for the right pieces but some are literally not worth the shipping selling online. Not to mention the trees and walkways are hard to sell and not worth much. I have sold 100s of dept 56 and its hard to buy from the ones who originally purchased because they always have a story what they purchased it for. Oh the best part is them pointing at the price on the box LOL. Oh wait not the best part...best part is the GLITTER!!!!! I dont think it will ever be fully gone from my home LOL

There could be a yard sale advertised with video games for 8am, “no early birds” and there will be people waiting at 6am. I’ll show at 7:30 to be prepared and they will say, “someone was already here and got them all”…. I’ve almost completely stopped sourcing video games.
All people try to get to yard sales early,I watch several pickers and I have seen them all do the same thing that they frown on, It boils down to they get upset because it wasn’t them that got there and bought stuff ahead of others
Basically if sales advertise video games, you’re not going to get them. There’s always gonna be crazy resellers showing up hours before a sale is open. Key is just hit as many as possible and ask each if they have any games for sale. About 25% of the time they pull it out for you.
People go to garage sales like 3 hours early when they have video games it's ridiculous 🤦

Yes, they will be marked Department 56 on the bottom typically.
When I saw that Tornado Rex I was like, whooa that can be worth a lot of money. In fact, there is an estate sale with this game sealed tomorrow. You can count on the fact I WONT be there because there will be a ton of people hours before it opens and with these estate sale companies, prices will be through the roof. Waste of time.

What is the general radius of all your finds? The only albums I ever find are 60 yr old polka albums! Ohio is great for yard sales.

I started going to yard sales here in Florida to flip items on eBay and stuff, but I don’t have a lot of knowledge when it comes about picking up items that can sell. I try to do market research when I’m at the sales but it’s hard to get something worthwhile, even with video games. Any tips? I get a little bit frustrated sometimes
Go early and often. Ask for items you're looking for, sometimes they will bring it out. Look at ads before going and see if they have what you're looking for. Watch videos such as mine and others and learn more categories and items to look for. Hope this helps!
I am glad that I got my son vintage star wars space ships and figures vintage things 70s for £70.00 worth over £500 when he was younger he is now 20years old & won't sell them. The designer of star wars and bat man things has died
I need to catch up on your videos. I loved this video so much variety. Great buy on the Doc Martens and the Barbies. I’m not familiar with Dept 56 items as I’m from Australia and haven’t seen them. Interesting that the game consoles were wrapped in plastic wrap, is that a concern at all? I thought it looked a good idea to keep out dust if they aren’t being used regularly any more.

I will comp things, but not everything. Just on things I'm on the fence on.
If no one else is around. I'll walk over to something else and make it look like I am just texting someone. I'm paranoid as hell to actually look like I am comp'n stuff. I know I shouldn't feel strange about it, but i do.
At the last sale i went to, I thought the owner had gone inside to pull some more items out. I pulled my phone out and began looking an item up. He then yelled out behind me the amount the item sales for on eBay.
I felt like a child caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

We just setup quickbooks, but we have been using Google sheets and excel.

I only bought a handful of pieces for that. She wanted 4400 if I bought the whole lot, so just picked a few of the better ones out.

If you’re going to make as good on the boots 🥾, I think you should have gave them what they were asking, And that goes for anything that you’re going to make really good on,Give them the little that they ask where they can get a little of what they spent back
No solds on the boots. What I paid was entirely a gamble. I'll probably ask less than the other listings I showed.
I agree. But there are some YT pickers that always pay full asking or walk away. Or even go beyond like Anthony does when he feels the asking was to low.
Propicker is respecting the people like with the guitar. Don’t argue just accept.
Some pickers continuing trying to go below asking price with everything. Seems like a sports to them and when I see that often, I unsubscribe. Somehow I don’t like to continue viewing.
The tag said $100 or best offer…. And he gave a reasonable offer that she accepted. And $100 definitely isn’t “little that they ask”
