@iambicpentakill971 Winning with frozen eye takes longer than dying in Act 2 without it. So... yes. But comparing apples to apples, say just winning runs... frozen eye should make the game go faster. You don't have to think as much, and you usually play fewer cards. For example, often you can look in your draw pile and find a line that ends the fight this turn, or you know that you can safely apply more damage now without dying next turn. Compare that to taking time to calculate odds and then deciding that it's best to hedge and block for two more turns while waiting for something guaranteed.
@@glenm99 with very optimized play, yes. But few people plan 5 turns into the future and calculate all the odds, because it's boring and not super rewarding. With frozen eye the planning is more rewarding so it's actually worth your time - so runs take longer, no?
At 8:01 a chatter is considering getting the metal coins for the Slay the Spire board game. I'm here to recommend that they do. The coins are among what I like best about my game ❤ great quality, as the rest of the game 🎉
Timestamps for when Jorbs picks up the card and relic in the thumbnail (Noxious Fumes and Snecko Skull): Noxious Fumes: (4:16) Snecko Skull: (9:16) Poison go brrrrr
u could have taken 1 less damage on turn 2 against the guardian at the risk of taking more later on because piercing whail would have been used even though u didnt need it at all in this fight... so my question is: is it on average better to take 1 more damage in this scenario or 1 less damage? (this is in hindsight, obviously)
Buy like 5 pieces of wood, make a big box on top of your table and one plank across the top then just point the camera through a hole you cut in the wood. Easy frame
Corpse explosion deals damage not poison, the problem with that sequence is that the other enemy had about 70 block, so the damage from corpse explosion wouldn’t be enough to kill it
I would say for Elden Ring, I would recommend beating the game at least 3 times with 3 different build ideas. The base game is so robust that you don’t need dlc until after that
If you want a good turn based strategy\tactics game, try dofus. Its an open world mmorpg, but all the combat is turn and strategy based. Teams of up to 8 allies\8 enemies. I played for 14 years. After close to 17,000 hours into the game I was finally done. Did everything there was to do, although they still release seasonal updates. With 18(?) different classes to chose from, and 6 different elements to chose from for almost all of the characters, theres thousands of different ways to play. If you want to play solo, you can use a mercenary as a second playable character, so even if oure alone, youre never really alone.
Climate change started in the 60s and researched more intensely in the 70s. Finding out that it's a threat took until some when in the 80s. I guess the principles were known for quite a bit longer but that's not the same. The cause was the increased productivity due to industrial automation. I think its not a good idea to spread miss information about the whole thing.
He got to the first shop so I tapped my screen to see how long the video was and thought “okay, he doesn’t pick frozen eye here”
I hate Frozen Eye. It can be good, but it makes the game drag
Frozen eye is a relic that is insanely powerful but unlike brimstone, the side effects affect your real life.
@@dracekidjr Exactly. You don't sacrifice ingame HP, you sacrifice your time.

Insomnia on the east coast and this was uploaded literally a minute ago. Perfection.
Hey there, I just woke up in Norway, think it's crazy how time differences mean this video was also perfectly uploaded for me
East coast insomnia gang
Same here but instead of insomnia it's stomach ulcers so I'm not technically part of the club sadly.

I know this is unrelated and nobody cares but today I got the perfect Defect power card build and finished the heart with 100% HP. Feels fcking good
We love it when a plan comes together 🎉🎉
Gotta love it when you get going on defect. I love when storm actually feels like a good card.
i care
My favourite fume is HOPIUM, but noxious is a close second.

I can now sleep. I love Jorbs.
My insomnia was so bad that jorbs didn't put me to sleep. Luckily tomorrow is Saturday.
Poison in the cards, poison in the chat. I guess some people were really into the deck concept.
I just frew up but there’s new jorbs at least
I usually can't remember what day a stream video is from but for some reason I can date this one exactly...
Man I wish Jorbs did like Battle Brothers. Favourite game, favourite streamer, match made in heaven.

Piercing wail blocks both the 8*2 and the 5*4 on its own so in a pinch this could block 20 damage.
Yes it's woth to preserve that card for 2 damage
Into the breach is a turn based tactics. Highly recommend
Thanks for the sleep aid!
Toxic egg doing the Lord's work
One of my absolute favorite cards.

At 31m00 does the poison get cancelled by the artifact is he does corpse explosion and blade dance to the left enemy?
Corpse explosion deals damage not poison, the problem with that sequence is that the other enemy had about 70 block, so the damage from corpse explosion wouldn’t be enough to kill it
Jorbs, do you play darkest dungeon 2?

You should do more overexplained runs! All the ones currently up are 5+ years old!
