Cars, skateboards, bmx, and for me bodybuilding. We had to earn our stripes before we opened our mouths. We roamed the salvage yards. We skated in backyard pools. Rode our bikes in construction areas. We gave way to the big strong guys in the gyms. I’m saddened and ashamed of what was pure and spiritual is reduced to something I can’t love anymore. Tampa, San Diego, Austin Texas, Akron Ohio, here in ga, there used to be some good meets, not anymore, real car guys don’t do meets, they link up with friends at their shops.
All those old cars you said had there time the problem is Car manufacturers don’t make a variety cars like they use to Dodge basically has two vehicles Charger and Challenger. Ford has one vehicle the Mustang and Chevy the Camaro and Corvette. That’s it that’s the performance car market in America and don’t get me started on JDM. They don’t make cars like they use to they make hybrids and little engines with no power. Each of these manufacturers had more car selection for the cheaper customers. There were more options for vehicles than just prioritizing the highest trim they had performance packages for lower trim cars not just appearance packages. Car companies have created todays car culture by limiting the market on what’s cool. They only prioritize the higher car trims lower trims don’t get shit. They have also limited the amount of vehicles being created all of them only have 1-2 cars in the performance line up. Then they make cars so bad to the point it’s not worth putting money into the car people just say you might as well get a Hellcat with all that money into the car. From what i heard they said the girl w the stolen car didn’t even own it , they said it was her boyfriends an she asked him to go to the car meet and he said no for that exact specific reason and she took his car anyways , someone snagged the key when she was trynna leave

Man I use to follow them younger guys on IG with the doors off the Charger 3:48 and them dudes from St. Louis and they be on that takeover shit too. It’s only a issue in the really big cities. In Topeka Kansas(a town of 150,000) they have car meets and they all just chill and pop their hoods. You’ll see cars, trucks and bikes. The cops will stop by and cut it up with us because we know how to be respectful.
