Heat Heavy Rain Unboxing

I'm 50/50 on this expansion at the moment. I love Heat but I'm not clamoring to play a 7 player game. I was hoping they were going to shore up the weather tokens with this expansion since they did call it Heavy Rain. That's one of the elements that makes the game different from game to game.

agreed - the lack of weather is baffling in an expansion called Heavy Rain!
The new maps are really fun though

How come nobody else is talking about the fact that in the original there were 8 starting positions and 8 spaces for placing finishers on the board (with the first 6 getting points) and on this expansion there are 12 starting positions and 12 spaces for finishers

In my review on Friday I do mention this, it's frustrating that there's nothing in the rules telling you what the plan is with this...

This sounds so fun! Aggresive Legends might finally make AI more competitive, without need to add them +1/+2 track speed or through corners (we've done that, as with track speed they were still lame). I'm waiting for my preorder to play with my nephew. We completed campaign with all tracks from the base and either will use these 2 as a separate campaign or maybe continue on from previous. Yeah, that's a shame there are no stickers, c'mon! Don't like to modify my board games this way.
How do the boards fit into the core box? No box lift up if they fit at all?
Translucent water stickers! That's an idea. Kingom Rush EU has removable stickers, not sure how do they work as I'm still waiting for my KS, but maybe they could do smth like that here too for the water and chevrons.

The boards do not fit in the core box.
I imagine they will do a big box at some point which stores everything.
