    Which one blocks the external noise more? Bose soundtrue or Bose AE2? I found both for a close price, which one could recommend me between them? Why?

    The QC25 does sound a bit better than the QC15. Both are good, but I definitely prefer the QC25 :)

    I remember using one of the bose headphones at an apple store and it sounded really good when used with an iPod Classic. I dont know which bose headphones they were but they were really good to my ears. Mabey they sound good with an iPod Classic, but not as good with a smartphone. I want to know.

      BTW I have an iPod Classic and it has 160gb and I am never going to give it up. If apple decided to one day release update of itunes that doesnt work with an iPod classic and I get that update I will protest because of that hahahaha. Hopefully apple will never do that.

    Coming from an audiophile... These are definitely not perfect in terms of audio quality, and you can get better audio for cheaper or the same price. However that being said I do think that they are perfect for people who travel a lot and people who are looking for a good headphone in general. Definitely impressed with the improvements made by Bose here!

    • @HJDWWe
      @HJDWWe 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you recommend me a better sounding headphone?

    • @alexmeulenbeld819
      @alexmeulenbeld819 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dawn Lerner Audiotechnica ATHm50X (best value for money), Denon AH-D600, Ultrasone HFI780 (a little more bass heavy than most, but my no means muddy) , Sennheiser HD600, Sennheiser Momentum, Audio Technica ATH-MSR7BK (these are new, so I am not sure about the sound, but audiotechnica has a great reputation for sound quality), philips uptowns, Grado (the company in general), V-moda crossfader LP, Ultrasone Performance 840 (came out only a couple of months ago, and has great reviews so far), Song MDR 1r, Sony MDR 10r, Sony MDR10rnc (Noise cancelling version of the MDR10), Beyerdynamic One Pro Plus.
      The list goes on and on, and I have only scrapped the surface of possibilities. These are the main headphones that any audiophile could recommend in a heartbeat. I would recommend finding a pair that interests you, and looking for reviews on headfi.org.
      In general, if you are looking for better sound quality you would want to stay away from Beats by Dre, Bose, Sol Republic, SMS, as they typically spend a lot of marketing (not necessarily a bad thing, as they are marketed towards the average consumer).
      Hope this helps, good luck deciding on some headphones!

      Well from what I hear from them, and what I have seen from the frequency responses, it is pretty flat. The major problem, would be the lack of sound stage, and perhaps a little bit of a weak low end. So I would say that the Audio Technica ATH M50X would be your best bet (retail for about $150). I know that Audio Technica have come out with a newer headphone for the consumer market (retails for around $250. I am not sure if they are available in the US yet, but I imagine they will be soon! Here are some links to amazon for them.
      ATH M50X: www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50x-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR86/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420688591&sr=8-1&keywords=ath+m50x
      New Audio Technicas: www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-Portable-Headphone-Import/dp/B00OTAE2B0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420688716&sr=8-1&keywords=ATH-msr7
      These two headphone (cant really talk confirm the new ones, but audio technica are generally great at producing quality products) would be easily recommended by any audiophile.
      Looking at another company, I would suggest the sennheiser company in general. The momentums (the consumer top of the range headphone) has a great overall sound (a little bass heavier, but by no means muddy).
      Ultrasone HFI780 are pretty flat line, with a every so slightly harsh high end, perfect mids, and a rich low end- these are my headphones at the moment, and I am loving them.
      Ultrasone have alos released a new range (the performance range) which have received excellent reviews
      If you are a bass lover, then look no further than the V-Moda Cross faders
      Shure have a wide range of great headphones. I do not have great experience with them, but have heard a couple of my friends ones. They have a very similar sound profile to the ultrasones.
      In general, going with any of these companies will bring you an over all great listening experience! Some of them simply have a wider sound stage, or a little more bass emphasis, or a more crisp high. That is what makes every headphone unique.
      Hope this helps...let me know if you have any more questions! Good luck choosing a pair of headphones!

      By no means do the Bose QC25 sound terrible. To me they sound pretty decent to be honest. The price is marked up for the truly amazing noise canceling abilities. Most audiophiles say that if you could spend the 300 dollars on headphones that are primarily focused on sound quality, then you can find better sounding headphones for less money. Bose is not marketed (or designed to be) the best sounding headphones, but rather an all round very good headphone, that takes into consideration a consumer that travels a lot.
      I would say that if you are planning to use these for traveling everyday, then these are great. They are very light weight, the noise canceling is on an entirely different level, and the sound quality is good (a lot better than beats, sms, sol republic, all of which are headphones that are often compared to the bose).
      A common factor that audiophiles forget to take into account, is the ease of transportation, as all they care about is sound quality.
      I would say that for less than 200 dollars, the Audio Technica ATH M50X has the best possible sound quality (better than the bose). What they lack in, is easy of transportation. They are not as light weight and slim as the bose. IMO no headphone company can compete with bose in terms of portability!
      I guess what I am trying to say, is that the bose is marketed and designed for a different consumer compared to that of sennheiser, audio technica, ultrasone etc, and as a result will take into account other factors besides simply sound quality (the reason for the $300 price tag).
