1:33 ... I remember that moment blew me away when I first played the game. The fact that the game actually had lip-syncing seemed like such a quantum-leap forward graphically for the time.
While very dated now, It's still impressive they managed to get so much detail with such little space on the cartridge and limited tech of the 64. Think of it this way, while it wasn't the greatest looking game. (Turok 2 might of had a bit better in game play graphics.) Just one year later, Halo CE came out. Yes it looks better. But if you watch the cutscenes. There a little stiff. The cutscenes for this game are actually a little more "Lively". The characters are a bit more expressive, at least in the cutscenes. Though, that's just my opinion.
@@Motoskichimo1974 Turok 2 was inferior to this game graphics wise, I distinctly remember noticing the notch up in graphics quality playing the 2 back to back during the old N64 days, also the facial animations and mouth movements showed that they had refined and upgraded what Turok 2 did graphics wise since it had neither of those, really Turok 2 is mostly held in higher esteem due to more people having played it and thinking the gameplay was better than Turok 3 (which is debatable) but one thing that is not is that Turok 3 had improved graphics and capabilities in comparison to Turok 2. Me personally I think what turned many fans off from Turok 3 was the fact that they "killed" the hero from Turok 2 off in the intro and replaced him with 2 kids.

Hard to believe such a big game not just gameplay wise, but with the long cutscenes, voice acting, facial animation movement when the characters would talk, and such excellent graphics from gameplay and cutscenes! All on a 32 megabyte(256 megabit cartridge)! Dang really pushed the N64 above its limit!
Wishing this Turok 3 shadow of Oblivion gotten a new remake not just Nintendo switch but to console Platforms of old current ps4 and Xbox one and Xbox series and PS 5. I really miss this game so much along with Turok 1 and 2.

Amazing! Truly amazing, how much voice & raw visual cinematic-ness they squeezed out of the 64's hardware.😳 The acts I'd commit to get this amount of storytelling and characterization in a modern mobile FPS..whew! Game was way ahead of it's time.
Wtf i didnt realize joseph was 15 until now and he was 5,6?? I picked him after playing as the girl first idk why but the very first part scared me more then anything and the girl screaming when she died freaked me out to much 😂😂
The game looks good but the Council looks leagues better than everything else. Great designs that look like something out of a Japanese game like Persona.
Still kind of weird for a game of it's time, some sort of attempt at making something advanced enough on the N64 engine in both visuals and environment. But to me it feels like it was harshly limited to the restraints of the aging console. What it could have been if the game was reserved instead for the Gamecube platform that came out a year later.
Truok 1 it's a far best graphics I ever seen just like modern war fare 4 but truok 3 it's the worst cinematic ever but mouth moments it's spot on! Just why truok takes the fall of gaming well never see truok ever again hopefully somehow they gana remake truok.
