Two consecutive hits! Outstanding! Almost 4x the max effective range for the cartridge (military standard 800yrds) never thought I'd see the day of it being stretched out past 2000yrds... nice shooting mate 👍👌
Well, there’s a lot about his rig that isn’t military standard, like a 200gr bullet and a 60 moa rail. And like, before watching this, I would have thought at 26” barrel would have been either redundant or unnecessary for a .308, but it’s hard to argue with the results.

I think this video is going to have myself and friends scrounging for gear to do something similar for the next long range shooting trip(road trip to a dry lake bed). The drone view at the end did a good job showing the distance. Good shooting, well put together video. Glad I found the channel, wish I had sooner.
That’s some awesome distance for a .308. Barrel length does matter. The hits on target looked like they still had some decent energy on impact. Great shooting.
Good shooting. Your cone of fire has to be huge at that distance, you've got to be pushing your equipment to it's maximum potential. I am impressed. Highly impressed.
It's like lobbing tiny artillery shells at that range. I loved the sound of the bullet flight. Since the bullets exploded on the steel, it's clear they were still carrying lethal energy. Absolutely wicked!
Good Job Sir! I don't think a lot of people realize how hard of a shot that is, and how little time you took to zero it before each pulling the trigger. 👍
Thx for the vid, I know they had to be coming in real slow at that distance, an that doppler noise sounded like distant aircraft coming in, really cool.
