This may look cool, but...
Your team got 0 objective score the entire game.
You did not contribute to the flag at all.
You may have destroyed some vehicles, but by not helping your team, you almost got rolled. It was sheer luck and the tens of thousands of combined hours of your team that you were saved by the skin of your teeth vs the other team (whom are likely new players)
I didn't see any mechanized Infantry tactics here either. You used the APC as an ammo point. You didn't assault positions with it. You didn't flank positions with it. You just sat in the woods waiting for armor to drive by and then rearmed your HATs and LATs off the APC. There was no mobilization except for when your team almost got rolled so you edited out the part of you driving from pig farm to the center of the map.
This isn't teamwork, this is a bunch of super experienced players all 1-manning themselves in a group vs new players. That T-72 should have smoked you guys and the only reason they didn't was because HATs and LATs have thousands of hours and the T72 was a new player. Hate me all you want man ! Someone has to say it! This is a great video if you're just joking around playing a video game with your friends, but to anyone seriously watching this, it's a joke!
It would be more interesting to see you take a group of brand new players, some of which don't speak any English and actually attack and capture an objective. Show me some actual teamwork. Show me something interesting for once. This is just a bunch of super experienced players quarter backing rockets. Nothing interesting or even remotely skillful or creative. Boring.
If I wanted to watch a 40 minute video of you running around in the woods away from the entire battle hail-marying rockets through the trees, you should change the video title to ''grown man plays shooty game''

@@zxc-e1112 I made this account when I was 13 and the proper spelling was taken. I served in the Navy from 2014 to 2018. WestPac deployment 2017 as a seaotter with CAG9 on the USS Carl Vinson with AIMD from FRCW on the F18 platform.
My dad was a career infantrymen who did six years as a drill sergeant. I watched the entire Iraq war from 2001 (the day the towers were hit) to 2007. I spent 6 years watching every moment of the war. Having an alcoholic drill sergeant as a father, he went to war a lot and took it out on me. I demand excellence because of this. When I see moidawg playing this game, I want him to elevate his gameplay. This is a mockery of war, combat, tactics teamwork and strategy and military history.
Given the amount of hours he has in the game, I demand he perform more excellently.
I demand he play more congruent with real life tactics and experiences that honor war and combat instead of make a joke out of it. Not to glorify it but to respect it for what it is.
But this is just your own personal little place to run around and 360 bunny hop while listening to ice spice fart song and puffing on nicotine vape pen. So I should feel ashamed and embarrassed for having infringed upon your little world with my harsh comment? Hahahaha. How about you do all of us a favor and elevate yourself from the childish thought process that you are.
Just in case anyone reads this... I actually love MoiDawg's channel. I love the videos. I love the game SQUAD. I wish there was new videos and content and updates everyday. I only wrote this comment because i felt like MoiDawg can produce better content. (Not that this content isn't good, but that it can be better) It may seem harsh, or mean to the video and MoiDawg but I do love the content and want him to produce better, more authentic, richer quality content. More military jargon and lingo. More actual tactics. Coordinated airstrikes and assaults. I don't really like the chaotic video game arcade style of video games like this. I like it when it's more refined. I can't stand the goofy jumping spinning crap. As one of MoiDawg's subscribers I just want to push him to create even better content. Diamonds are forged through heat and pressure.

For better or worse, a lot of new players learn the game by watching TH-cam videos. Maybe if they see armor being used the proper way, this way, then they'll be less prone to trying to play world of tanks during rounds of Squad.
Whatever works! Tactics and a good infantry squad can always find ways to takedown a bigger adversary

I mean the issue is that most of the times people playing mech inf don’t play the flags. So if the other squads aren’t good or does basically the same then the game ends quickly. I know that a lot of servers now do allow infantry squad to claim APCs and all vehicles that can be claimed without a crewman kit.

Remember being in a mech squad on Al Basrah Invasion and we took the points with ease because we would rock up to an enemy HAB in the Stryker and all dismount to instantly proxy the HAB.
Story time; I was squad Leader of my squad named "Cavalry" and took crewman SL, a full squad joined, i explained our plan. Got a gunner on a BTR and we went in with 2 infantry sub-squad of 3(a) and 4(b) dudes, they had for task to defend (a) the btr and attack (b) the enemy. We captured every point in 30 minutes with losing only 1 btr. It was super fun and intense. My squad was super organized. Thanks to those players who joined me and played like a team, it was unique

me and my friends try do it regularly. Unfortunately most servers will kick you for doing it. Which is absurd because it's very obviously the most effective way to play and also just... realistic... it's what they're designed to do....

It is more effective to keep the vic cmdr and inf SL in separate squads. Which is why some servers kick you for that.
Is the rule unnecessary? probably, yea. But you can always just move the vic crew to a separate squad.
@@Erdtier not necessarily. It's annoying to keep trying to communicate to the vehicle through a separate channel. Especially if other people are already talking in command chat. And local chat only gets you so far lol. It's just easier to have everyone in the same squad. Especially because it works both ways, infantry can better support vehicles in return. I know playing vehicles a lot how often we have to ask infantry to help but we can't directly talk to the infantry to work with them. It's chinese whispers. You remove that problem when everyone can hear you talk.
I've even been kicked from official servers and well reputable servers for it. I asked one of the admins about it after a few kicks and he said "it's just not fair because no one else is doing it" @@noahjs2002

The reason I don’t do mech infantry as an SL is kinda shown in the first few minutes of the vid. I find it takes too much mental RAM to manage my infantry and a vehicle all while listening to command coms, paying attention to the map, keeping the big picture in mine, etc. Plus I don’t trust the other SLs to properly defend points and create proper HABs so I focus heavily on defense, freeing the other Squads to attack. It CAN work but me personally … I just don’t like it

Can you drop a new graphics settings guide? A lot has happened since your last one and when i scope in with my magnified sights, some holographic sights and binoculars the aperture gets duplicated or tripled. Also the sight picture is kind of blurry
If I played that game (on wish list) that's how I would want to play it: strong and smart LT with the same with NCOs. The only thing I don't like is the reverse cross on the Binoculars.
Its why when my friend and I play armor we hang around infantry

How do you change the normal icone of players on your map ? here you can clearly identified who is who ! Is it a mod or an option ?
It's an option, hit caps lock to bring up the full map and menu, then at the top (iirc, maybe bottom) there's a settings icon. From there you can customize a lot of the information the map does or doesn't give you

A lot of the time if you join an APC squad the squad leader will just kick you from the squad because for some reason they don't want infantry and we should only be in infantry squads.

Is it just me or does anyone else have the experience where bluefor team has all the milsim players and the redfor team has all the casuals with no organization? I feel like I’ve had many more times that my team had no organization and no clue what we were doing when it was a redfor team.

This looks like server homebrew rules lol, I haven't seen a single server that allows mech/inf yet. Only when it's 3 am on a saturday night and no one cares or there are no "experience" players around. I love rolling around on vehicles helping inf as they push, but I have to do my own thing next to another inf squad until the commander ask me to do some stupid shit like "go kill that logi 350 m away from the push". Everytime I asked if I could make a whole mech/inf squad they always said "no, you can't do it because" x reason. Which is usually a stupid reason.
