@@timetoparty1015 This urchins eats the corals and as u can see some corals are turning yellowish or something (they don't look healthy) because the urchins are eating them their overpopulation is not good for the sea bed
@@xelou1947 yeah, cool. But my question is, if there were no humans, does it mean there wouldn't have been many other species as well? Because of the urchin's overpopulation
ah my bad... well if there are no humans then they'll continue to spread widely and kill the corals and that will affect or kill the other species that depends on it like fishes, they depend on the corals protection/shelter and provides oxygen for them.
They go alive to our factory. There over populated but that's because of humans here in New Zealand big cray fish would eat them and keep them balanced with the eco system. But now we've over fished big crayfish/lobster so now they don't have a predator
There taken over due to humans over fishing there predators big cray fish would eat kina (sea urchin) they go to our factory then they get sold to shops not really restaurants more like fish in chip shops and sea food markets
@@Reythscipe and you know where this place is? You say it depends where but you don’t even know where this video is set in. There are places where it’s permitted to take these urchins because they’re overpopulated and destroying the coral reefs. If it wasn’t a location where you can then that would make this video illegal, but seeing as the person who posted this video is still posting more videos like this then no it’s not illegal and it’s sustainable. There are also laws that say how much you’re allowed to take.
The fish be like: "Sir, do have more? More would be great thanks." Love it! So satisfying!!

This is very satisfying. Didnt know they harvest see urchin this way
Yep they need to do it because it can damge the corals
@@xelou1947 oh and that's good cause it's food aswell 👍

This looks like so much fun. The fishies loving it
Wow thank you for removing and feeding the fish these invasive crap from the sea ❤
There sea urchins are very bad for the environment so thank you for posting this to spread awareness
I don’t know why but this is very oddly satisfying to watch 😳
don't ever feel bad for sea urchin... there's a ton of them in shallow waters that they become a pest to coral reef
Bro really said: Im not street hustling, im Sea Hustlin’
I like how you feed fishes
No more starfish, that’s why there’s so many urchins
What do you call the fihs that the person feeds?
Does it hurt when touching
These people are doing wonders for the reef by cleaning these urchins
3:23 Bags of money 💰 💰💰💰💰💰💰
I wish our boss gets majority of the money 💰 we don't get that much for the hard work
Very cool video. Do you sell these to be eaten? Or just remove them

Took me awhile I gave up smoking and trained for 8months
Real channel name ??
corokinaboys
What is his channel name?
They really love eating sea orchid
They're harvesting it because it's an invasive kind of urchin that destroys the corals
@@xelou1947 ow, thank you
@@xelou1947 doesn't hurt that they can then sell it for a nice little profit

Here I am at midnight
I first saw this on tiktok and I laughed like Hades at the ending. I didn't know people eat these spikey things.
You should try it too! It's super good
Alot of people eat them we wouldn't have a job otherwise. We can get 120000 ton a year
It’s not considered « sea urchin » in New Zealand, instead kina….you’re clearly American
Watch the beggining of the video again
Yeah it's kina I work with these guys
I came here to solely watch him feed the fish
Little monsters got to go 😤
Lol what if most of those are empty then no money just fast picking
There's season's we're there fat as roe in them
And we crack a few open to see there condition then feed the fish
smh, the fish are over there enjoying he creamy urchin for free while I’m here buying it for 48.
I mean, okay, understandably.. Pests you need to take them away.. But what if there were no humans?? I think some things we should leave to nature
what
Orchins has no natural predators. They need to be manually harvested by humans to help the coral reefs

i feel bad for the sea urchins BECAUSE THEY ARE ALIVE
Nah don’t feel bad king there really bad for the environment and are overpopulated causing the ecosystems balance to tip in a bad way
So what? Fuck you
Don’t feel bad because them being overpopulated is what’s killing that coral reef aka other fish’s homes.

They are so minimalistic they don’t even feel pain and probably don’t even realise what’s going on around them
I hate you man sea urchins are good bois u shouldnt catch them and deliver then to the restaurant :
