You are so sweet. I love you and Sam’s videos. I’ve been following you since you started college I think. You inspire me on so many levels. Even the little things like buying a pair of Hoka’s, and Birkenstock’s. Now I own multiple pairs, I love them! Getting an Our Place skillet/pan…the list goes on. I totally understand getting a sense of “community” in the new place you live with a church. So important. I follow another lady named Michel Janse who is faith based. She is awesome and you two have much of the same tastes and styles. You both use Thread Up, and like Free People, Ambercrombie, Anthropology, etc. You might want to check her out. I’ve been hunting for a BIBLICAL church for over a year…I’m so exhausted and upset about it. I just continue to pray. Im to the point that maybe God is directing us to relocate based on a good church. Knoxville area was actually on the list of potential areas.
If you know of any churches that align with my fav preachers like Paul Washer, John MacArthur, Voddie Baucham or similar, please let me know. Like anyone. Anywhere. Let me know please.

I'm SO frustrated with your situation with your new home. There is NO reason you should not be able to switch out the light fixtures PRIOR to them putting the ones they had planned, and just charging you the difference. Same think for flooring. If the carpet THEY planned was priced at X per sq yard, you wanted to upgrade for XX per sq yard, you should only have to pay the difference in the upgraded padding and carpet. ITS SO WASTEFUL to put down/hang up something you dont want, only to tear it down to put something you want up. Your builder needs to have a meeting on this topic. It makes no sense. I understand if there is a back order situation, holding him up, or you taking too long to pick wood/tile/etc but it is your home. And countertops..... seriously. It is going to waste a LOT to have to rip those out to put YOURS in. Ok, I'll try to get over it. LOL But i'm sad he wont go with your decisions and charge you accordingly!!!! Even on just a FEW things (lighting and countertops for example) Congrats on your move!!!
