I avoided the menstrual cup for years for the same reason as you. I’ve been using it now for a few months & I wish I would have tried it sooner!! It is life changing. You also don’t have to put your fingers up very much because the cups have a little tail that sticks out & you pull on that! (: hopefully that helps!!
I started using a menstrual cup a year ago and it is the absolute best. I use the Pixie small size. Definitely a learning curve on how to place it and remove it properly but it is soooo much easier and more convenient and comfortable!
I started using the Saalt cup back and February and I have loved it! It is super easy in my opinion and I only change it every six or so hours, instead of every three on heavy days. I suggest the Saalt Soft Regular cup because it is gentle, but it still is firm enough to pull down on. Thank you for this Q&A!

I felt the same way about menstrual cups and the flex cup worked great for me! It has a pull tab like a tampon that releases the suction and it works so well!
I’ve been using a menstrual cup for a few years and about a year ago I started using Cora. Menstrual cups in general are just so much better for you, the environment and cheaper. There is a learning curve to put it in and take it out but it’s very easy to learn how to do. Cora in particular is awesome because you can leave it in and still be intimate with your husband. My husband said he’s never noticed it. Definitely worth the try!

The period company period underwear is amazing! I was hesitant to use it for awhile and felt so weird but they are so comfy! I wear them for my whole period as leak protection with a cup and wear it by itself toward the lighter days. They are so really comfy and affordable
I also love the Cora tampons! I use the ones without applicators - easier than it sounds and saves on waste. But I really want to try the menstrual cup because I’ve heard it helps with cramps. Thanks for this video!

Our oily house blog is awesome for natural DIYs! So simple and easy too! For the grabbing the menstrual cup out, yes I agree it’s not my fav thing BUT you get used to it super quick, and a TMI tip to help is like bear down it will push the cup out more so you barely have to grab it! For the ovulation app, I have been using natural cycles this year and I love it! Super easy and seems very accurate on ovulation days! I love NFP/fertility awareness method, and that app makes it supplper easy!

Menstral cups are 100% GAME CHANGER! I use to not be able to get out of bed the first day with cramps and now I use the brand saalt regular and it’s awesome ! Try it and you will also be happy with how much money you save with tampons

They have menstrual cups with rings on the bottom so you don't have to stick your fingers up there. I got the regular stem cup when I started until I learned they had one with a ring on the end to pull it. I'm excited to listen to that podcast!
I definitely do struggle on focusing on the now and look at future more. Definitely through the season of life for me being pregnant. I had a lot of guilt that I was lacking in our sexual life but once we talk about it.. he mentioned about he didn’t want to push on anything sexual cause he knew how much I am tired or ache. So I am sure you and Sam come into a place of what is going on in your life that might halt that and as long you talk about it then you guys will be golden 😊

I would highly recommend the book “Taking Charge of Your Fertility” to learn more about your cycle, identifying your ovulation signs and how to achieve or avoid pregnancy off the pill! Michelle Reed recommended it on her channel and it truly changed my life and my perspective on our bodies and cycle! Especially since you said your period has been irregular, the Flo app can only predict and not determine if you’re ovulating!
