Your tutorial was excellent! Your directions were clear and to the point. I’ve been sewing for 65 years, but someone who is new to sewing would have no problem following your tutorial. Great job!!!

I bought a tote bag pattern off of Etsy and immediately was lost when I got the directions. So, I came to TH-cam to look for answers when I stumbled across this in-depth tutorial. As someone who only knows basic sewing skills, I was thrilled to find an easy video that catered to someone wanting to make a tote bag that wasn’t flimsy! I literally had this tutorial playing from start to finish and created a beautiful bag in 5 hours! Although it seems like a lot of time to some, I’m thoroughly impressed with myself 😂 I’m already starting my second one of the day. Thank you so much!

Love the detail in your tutorial Svetlana! One small tip, before you close up the lining seam in the bottom, if you sew a couple stitches on the wrong sides with the corner seams matched it anchors the corners in place so they don't shift inside. This helps if you make them washable or if you make them reversible.

Sveltlana I love your bag designs and have purchased some. Your videos are awesome and very easy to understand. One suggestion I would make about this video is pressing the top edge before top stitching. It is really helpful to get that crisp edge. This bag is a great beginning for experienced bag makers too, because you can add all kinds of details to it like inner slip pockets or zip pockets or an exterior slip or zip pocket, so it's a really great bag as a starting point. Thank you for the video!

Thank you for your videos ❤️ my grandma instilled the love of sewing in me when I was young. I just started sewing again as an adult and I wish she were here to teach me since I barely know much. She passed away when I was 14.. So thank the Lord for guiding me to lovely teachers, like you on TH-cam! Thank you!

I made this for my 89 year old mother for a Christmas gift. It turned out so pretty! I used an old woven belt from my son's closet for the handles, she LOVES it! Thank you for sharing your talents!

Just followed the instructions to make this bag and it couldn’t be easier. I’ve made it for my daughter to carry her works things to and from. Hope she likes it. Thank you so much for the tutorial, it couldn’t have been easier.

I’ve been sewing for a year now. Mostly bags and little pouches. I’ve followed a number of people and tutorials on TH-cam to learn. I still struggle. After watching just two of your, very well explained videos, I see exactly what I’m doing wrong! Thank you so much for the wonderful information. I love your channel!

Hello. My job requires me to carry a clear bag if I want to bring things for myself and this pattern is so darned easy. I work for a security/event staffing company and our next job is to work a football game in Kansas City, it will be cold and I will be working outside, so now I will have a bag to carry my hat, gloves, scarf and lunch in. I will be sewing my bag by hand and for the sake of durability, I'll make the liner with the same clear material as the litter body. I'll be using a clear shower curtain for the bag and handles, and upholstery thread. Thank you for posting this pattern, I love it!

Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have been able to make an amazing project bag for my knitting following your very clear instructions. I used some faux sheepskin and lined it with an upholstery fabric and attached two handles to the outsides with rivets.

i didn't have the PUL fabric, so i used a waterproof table cloth that had a fuzzy back as my interior. THANK YOU this was quite easy and easy to follow. AWESOME.
