Short answer
- Hoyoverse games are not player friendly in the slightest because of bad rates, no endgame and very limited playability because of a very limiting resin system that never got decently updated, even if you buy resin (which is a waste) you can't buy as much resin as you like you also have for that a daily limit of purchases because the devs never thought about giving proper endgame content that can be made in loop, events can be rushed in a single day. Which is what I do most of the time because said events are 1 hour long or stretched because of lame, repetitive, badly paced dialogues that I think are just present to waste my time
- The community instead of embracing criticism and feedback towards Hoyoverse's games from other fans instead discriminate, censor and hurts other fans that just want the best for the game and thus for even the toxic community of Hoyo's games

Objection the last segment. Ever since I'm part of Genshin's playerbase, which is 2 years now, I only hear criticism. Hoyoverse juet not listen. Where is no criticism is Star Rail. The only issues I hear from thath game is: too many good chars now I'm broken, not enough resin, and bad artifact system. And I don't know the other communitys.

You hit the nail on the head pretty much. There is definitely a culture of taking any form of criticism as an attack when it comes to Hoyoverse fans. This is exactly why hoyoverse doesnt improve or innovate. Because they know no matter how much they abuse their fan's loyalty these fans will always line up to attack others on their behalf. Even to the extent of trying to review bomb and slander another game they themselves view as competition to their own games. Such as what we see with the Genshin vs WuWa drama going on where WuWa is being review bombed by Genshin players before its even out.

Variety gaming is the way. Gacha games get stale because it’s the same thing over and over until the next story quest.
The sad thing is people have been conditioned that they’re looking for new gatchas to play instead of looking for new games to play. WW, HSR or that new Azure Lane game won’t save any content creator

Mtashed is a fish trying to find food buffet in a puddle instead of a lake. This has happened a couple times to him. Mtashed got mad that there was not enough endgame content for him in Destiny, and Genshin. While honkai star rail is adding alot of endgame modes he is blowing through them faster then they can last for him. In a extreme example he is a drunk trying to find something at the bottom of the bottle, but never will, and keeps trying to find something in the new bottle. Like Tectone said he is a extreme gamer in a casual game type.
He should start to play Path of Exile, it wil bury him in the "endgame"

Not just streamers either. I used to have a twitter that I just did Genshin MMD videos and memes on. It gave me a lot of followers but at the same time when i started wanting to make MMDs for wuthering waves, Honkai Star Rail, and HI3 they would get nowhere near the same amount of attention as my Genshin MMDs did. If you are a content creator, whether that be a streamer, some sort of animator, or an artist, when you focus on just one thing people will only want that from you and I dont want to make Genshin MMDs the rest of my CC career. I want to make videos about other games and media. Thats why I deleted my twitter of 2k followers and just walked away and gave myself a fresh start. Because truth is, Tectone is right. Id rather have 300 followers and enjoy what im doing then have 2k followers making the same old thing with the same two characters week after week. The truth needs to be said, The Hoyoverse fandom has become a place where creative types give up their souls for the sake of quick growth and its really sad to see.
Just make what u want don't give af about how many views u get just enjoy yourself and don't read hoyo Communities' Twitter comments

I only know tectone because of his TH-cam, I don’t think people nowadays have that much time to watch stream on twitch maybe some jobless guys can watch someone streaming for 3-4 hours but videos are much more convenient because people can watch in their own free time
Exactly, I used to have twitch but I just can't have the time to watch someone for 3-4 hours especially those who stream a whole 24hours, I prefer TH-cam bc of the convenience

Being married is 100% a debuff as a CC especially when you’re trying to stream AND make a completely different style of video content for TH-cam that you can’t just do on stream.
My hardest thing is prioritizing what content to make between streams, cosplay sets, lore videos and stream content outside twitch(shorts/tiktoks)
The sad thing is, the drink event would have been great if we got to serve drinks to like Sparkle, Acheron, Black Swan, etc. That would have at least made me look forward to seeing what kind of shit comes out of Sparkles mouth next.
All of penacony's characters it's like secret agents, unlike how carefree xianzhou's character is, they all have a mission to do, they can't just show up to the bar and have a drink, can you imagine how awkward it would be if Acheron met sparkle or Gallagher met aventurine, it doesn't make sense. and bartender quest is basically story made for Siobhan anyway

Yup and this is why I think large CCs won't stick around. Plus the only reason to rush I feel is if you plan on doing Solo/Hitless runs. That's just not really something I see Mtashed doing though.
Nah not just him, the majority of hardcore gamers will also do that and get burnt out quickly then proceed to complain about not having enough content. Games aren't meant to be rushed. Gamers need to chill out lol.

It'll be the same for wuwa tho, its not a bad game at all, but i can already see myself 100% the map a week into every patch as i did for genshin and hsr. At that point when i do it and do the event and max out my characters, ill have to wait for weeks just like how i do for the other 2 games. Its not like wuwa will release dynamic content every week. I bet teccy and the others will also shit talk about the games lack of content again and guess what? Its another damn gacha game which has a small patch of story and then the patch goes dry
Bosses that's all I feel like I need to say. Genshin bosses are very dull so that's not really an option. WuWa's bosses are more dynamic and take more mastery. I personally will be doing solo runs in WuWa. I don't care about the open world as much it's just for farming anyway. I think it's very clear what type of player WuWa's is trying to attract. Honestly why I prefer the resin system ngl. Yeah its bad, but it is necessary to keep those hardcore gamers from finishing the content in a single day due to having a insane amount of time to do just that.
@@soulblade3291 I guess the healthy way to view it is by treating both games as complementary to eachother, WuWa when you feel like an absolute godsweat gamer with the mechanical skill showcase videos and Genshin when you feel like you want to just chill and rest after a long day. Their intended audience doesn't differ much in the first place because of that reason, the basic loop's the same in a way

I didn't watched the full video, but we all know that Genshin doesn't have endgame. Even HSR, it's endgame isn't fast or make us (the players) play every time, however they have endgame content at least. Genshin is a one time experience. You play it, complete de abyss, and if u don't like the chars and the future ones, just quit it
Certainly my experience. Combat lost me and abyss didn't appeal to me. HSR is pretty ease to hop in, farm, and move on. Played plenty of gachas and looking to others. Genshin at this point you could just keep up via lore channels and have no need to play it.

@@shinigamiryan5837 Can clear all the content with year 1-2 characters without having to roll for constellations or even get high stat artifacts. Log in, do daily commissions, burn resin, and log off. That's pretty much the routine for a good chunk of the player base until a new region/content pops up
Heck I am still preparing for HSR endgame. Came back during Argenti's banner, because the EG HSR launcher put a virus in my pc that really fucked it up. Got Seele btw.
Anyway, I have 2 teams now, Argenti Erudition and a Dot Team....and now I am building a Himeko Herta team.
In Genshin, once you get 2 teams capable of doing abyss....That's it.
I think the main issue most gachas have in that sense is the predatory af dumbass stamina system. They don't make content that you want to constantly do because they want you to engage with that Stamina system and hopefully waste more money. Even MoC and PF, you really only want to do them once or until you can get the best cycle you can and then never touch it till the next one, and those that want to keep playing to push low/0 cycles end up getting herded right back into the stamina system because they constantly are on the grind for better gear (that you don't need).

Genshin could release Natlan tomorrow, Shnezneya.. That unknown god ect... People won't be that excited. They started to wake up and players are starting to ask themselves what is the point of pulling all these characters? What is the point of building them. You could literally use 1 character like Neuvillette or Arlecchino and beat the whole game with it, solo the abyss and everything. Those CC who spend thousands of dollars every month to C6 a character end up using them to do children puzzles and mini games and talk to NPCs nobody care about. So can you blame them?

He isn't overly negative about the game, he's rational about it. Most players will quit if this trend continues, even genshin white knights CANNOT defend 4.6 not having Dains quest. That is 3 dry patches in a row.

PGR doesn’t really have this problem. I know most people haven’t played PGR but there is plenty to strive for in the endgame. If I want to play PGR for hours at a time I actually can on a regular basis. This is mostly by virtue of their boss design and combat system
@@cynthiahembree3957that’s not true I played PGR for nearly 2 years and you can eventually run out of endgame content there is only ppc and war zone for weeklies you can also do other modes but it’s the same thing over and over again which will make you get bored and maybe eventually quit
@@DiouxxieRounds You can eventually run out of content in any game it's not gacha specific. In most live service games you have to figure out what you care about doing. I do solo boss runs so no I am not running out of content any time soon. If you want to keep playing PGR outside of dailies/weeklies trust me you would find a way. I won't quit PGR because they constantly release new bosses and characters with unique gameplay which is what I play for. Not dailies/weeklies. It kind of sounds like you just don't like playing the same game long term

Honestly? You don't really "make" time, but you do learn to find occasions where you're idle while working on your daily activities. During that time you gotta decide whatever it is you want to do during that downtime, slowly working it into your routine each passing day if possible
This usually provides the best outcome if that idle time activity is related to a hobby that's purely creative in value first before slowly easing it away to a more productive effort depending on your current discipline, but you can also just stick with the hobby side of things too if youre content enough with your daily life

Try PGR, same company as WuWa. Story, Music, combat, all smash Mihoyo's games. Even Penacony holds no candle.

The way the Star Rail devs did the Vingettes event Star Rail is how the 4.5 Alchemic Ascension event in Genshin should have been.

Honestly I kinda ruined genshin’s combat for myself. Alhaithom was the prime reason I decided to get into genshin in the first place but my team for him doesn’t really need any skill. All I have to do is mark my enemies with Nahida, switch to Kuki Shinobu, use her elemental skill, switch to Furina and do hers, then switch to Alhaithom use his elemental skill, then spam attack. I don’t really dodge much because I’m constantly getting healed and I tend to heal faster than I take damage and now that that has become the norm its hard for me to learn to use any other team in genshin. In wuthering waves, you are required to coordinate your attacks with your enemies attack patterns and each character has very specific complex play styles and shields and healers aren’t nearly as much of a crutch so this time it’s going to keep me on my toes. I’ve just gotta avoid Jiyan because his play style enables you to spam attack after ulting. Another thing I can’t stand in genshin is the domains. Having to repeat the same exact fight with the same exact group of enemies 8 times consecutively every single day has drained my passion, patience, and will to live so now when I play genshin I just log in, do my dailies, and log out because there is nothing left to do and I can no longer be bothered to spend my resin. With Wuthering Waves there are no repetitive domains and gear farming is completely open world. Problem solved 😅congrats to anyone who made it this far through my rant, unfortunately I don’t have a medal to give you.

i'd love to watch MT stream, but i don't, because my Mac can't handle Twitch, and he only streams on normal business hrs when i'm also busy with my own work. btw, yall can do a moving stream, or move-in stream. and funny how i'm also moving the weekend WuWa drops

I desagree with you in this one my friend, he IS a streamer, I watch ppl play straight 12hrs playing random games, like, really playing, as you say, he is a hard core gamer, and the games he try to stream right now are not good for him, you on the other hand work you way around the gatcha games, it works for you, he is just a diferent kind of streamer as the one you are.
I really enjoy both, I enjoy hearing your point of views and takes on random shit, and also love how you bait stupid ppl on internet, and also enjoy a streamer that can go trough 12hrs trying to kill a boss on elden ring or sekiro.

the fact there's no guys in azur makes it outright impossible for it to surpass those games. husbando's are just as important as waifu's

Azur promilia will surpass by a lot wuwa. Even the then game that dont even have a release date Unending Dawn, that game will break records (i think)
there's really nothing to do in genshin reaching AR50+.. Ar50+ is just doing daily quest and leave the game.. its like a chore.. the bosses in the game doesnt have any challenges.. you can kill the boss within a matter of seconds. even spiral abyss you would only need seconds. theres really nothing new..to put it in a perspective if you eat you favourite food everyday. even if its your favourite it will become boring for a long run.. thats what is genshin now

For some reason, and this happened to Genshin and HSR, he speedrun through all content and then makes a vid complaining that he has nothing to do and its boring. I hope he doesnt do that again, that he learned to pace himself with games.
