I’ve played Genshin since Childe’s first banner. Enjoyed it a year into it, to the point it became an addiction. And when people say that “once you swipe once, it’s REALLY difficult to stop”, because after that first swipe, it gets a very toxic cog in your brain to start turning that is HARD to stop. It’s gotten to the point where I DESPISE genshin… but I can’t let it go due to the money I’ve spent in it. It’d be like putting your life savings on a SINGLE open bet that doesn’t close (exaggeration ofc to prove my point), and the SECOND you walk away from it, that is like throwing away money you spent, making that money worthless. I feel handcuffed to the game and it gives me so much anxiety it blows. Wuthering Waves’ combat is so satisfying to watch I can only imagine how it feels to play (didn’t apply for the first CBT, attempted to sign up for the 2nd, but didn’t get in). And IF combat gets stale, the story will be what hooks me. What good is a combat system if there isn’t a good story to use it alongside it? I honestly just want Wuthering to take me away from the handcuffing that is genshin and not make me feel as bad about leaving. Due to the shit I did to myself on genshin I’m gonna only go for characters I like and not give a shit about meta, bc doing that before only made shit worse. These 7 days cannot end faster I stg lol

As a Global PGR player, no matter how much you spend on the game and how maxed out is your character, if you can't dodge, parry or protect yourself from attacks and you get stun-locked by mobs or boss, you die and it's great tbh. Knowing that no matter how much you spend, but if you have skill issues, you get clapped easily. I know Kuro Games will do the same on WuWa. So hyped for this game ❤️

Tof is still regularly updated and Ive played the game since launch.. never once had issues that werent related to me running the game on an hdd lol Also am an f2p player and get plenty of gameplay enjoyment out of it. Its definitely not the best game, its pretty far down tbh. It's got decent end game, some of which actually requires knowing mechanics over just slapping it with a whale in the party. I'm hoping for the best for WuWa, I want it to succeed as much as it can without having the covid buff
i can vouch this.. the problem is game still cant figure out if its mmo/co-op or single player experience.. i quit like 3-4 months ago mainly due to that.. now im gonna be clear.. combat is very responsive and fun at times.. each character has its own exploration perk besides just combat.. like for me having ling han for exploration was such a fun experience.. but it got pretty tiring later on.. like i used to do lot of co-op with the characters i had.. i was doing pretty well in co-op content.. it was fun playing va, raids and stuff cuz i was being useful and actually felt like doing something in team.. but later on they kept adding powercreep characters like crazy.. like im sure if i come back now and even grind all my gear to current players.. my maxed out A6 character wont match latest a0 character.. then theres single player experience.. now if u have played from day 1.. u know how fun vera was with its mini bosses and and those time limit rifts..it was single player content through and through.. killing those gave u red nucs so it was difficulty+ equally rewarding.. now theres nothing like that.. story is improved i guess but never kept with it.. then theres open world bosses to have fun testing damage and all.. but now even solos or group of 3-4 peeps can clear them within mins.. so u barely find alive bosses.. and every single one of open world normal enemies dont even require using abilities or skills.. they die in like 2-3 normal attack.. it became boring for me rq and i left the game
Excatly the gaming sweet spot is the best! I like easy progress but hard endgame and collecting things. Plus exploration with discovering things on my own. I like to call this easy hardcore playing. Low skill floor but with super high skill ceiling.

I played TOF when it came out, when exploration was locked behind timers and when crow jump glider spamming was the meta. I stopped before nemesis banner ended and I can confidently say that I never experienced any bugs, the servers always had tons of people, 20 guys sitting in front of one of those mini boss guys that respawn every 5 minutes for hours, just to farm for a part for the horse mount. Only reason I dropped the game was because exploration was locked behind timers, as I said before.
Welp I guess I am unique in this. Cause I play HSR constant and try to max out my rewards for it all the time. I also just like how relaxing it is to farm materials. Also it is a fair argument to say when they have nothing to do they will drop it...cause I did that with Genshin. After Inazuma I dropped the game cause it was way too boring for me. Hardcore players on competitive games are guess what... competitive. They want to prove they are netter than others. Elden ring's choose your difficulty doesn't exist. Overleveling will not make it into animal crossing. Way too easy for anything. But Malenia Blade of Miquella is gonna be hard no matter what. Learning the patterns and learning the dodge timings makes it easier, not the level.

4:50 Frankly, it was the same for me when Genshin first launched. I played for like 3 weeks, then stopped. Then I came back to it 1,5 years later and there was way more stuff in the game, played ever since. I don't think that's necessarily a WuWa problem.
Story with so much expression the character have Combat that equivalent to vergil enjoyer where parry and dodge are skill needed. Meta basic on your playstyle because of echo not just pick any op chara. Waifu and husbandos with awesome design What else to say I'm all in
From what I've heard most of the release issues are gone, but the main complaints I've seen is it being not very new player friendly, farming some items being tedious and powercreep being wild if you want to que up as a competitive dps
from my experience, they time gate like chest so u have to wait like the next day or in a few days before collecting them, which is a pretty awful change but idk if they changed that since it was like that since release
@@goldendocsonic2012 As far as I know this only happens in the first planet, and you can skip it to the second map after progressing a bit in the story and come back later when the count down is over. They are releasing the 4th planet soon, so there is no lack of content for people entering the game now.
oh the ToF guy. i quit playing ToF but i still somewhat like the combat and i even got skins. but it was powercreeping so fast, im frost main there...also light spender. from experience, wuthering waves start of the game compared to ToF start of the game...wuthering waves feels better no offense. also i still play genshin, c6 itto r2, zhongli c2 r1, and i do have all the other geo limited characters at c0 geo supremacy and 36 star all the abyss of fontaine. the start of genshin u get basically keaya, lisa, barbara. sorry but the start characters clunky especially lisa. but noelle and geo traveler okay, one of the reasons i main geo. had a bad first year saving up for 5 star was a pain, the longest i hoarded premos is start of sumeru, i took a break and came back for fontaine and still had 180k primogems and 80 limited fates don't mean to flex :P then i c6 my itto so im broke now. i still like genshin, and wuthering waves switch cancel and all the mechanics, i like the combat more. also every story including wuther waves, absolute skip. skip genshin story and maybe go watch some else play the story :U for me, i really don't understand people that like stories. probably a bunch of people that got a lot of time on their hands

When I started my Honkai Account my Genshin basically rottet away... Now, I have a diff. view of genshin. At this point Genshin is the wish version from Honkai for me. Genshin was lucky and came first, Honkai has better Quallity (personal Option), better way to build yourself up ftp (personal Option), having good Events/Stories(personal Option), free 5 Star Ratio.... like com on. All this is well and good, but Ratsu forgot one key component that's gonna slow down both WuWa, Genshin, and pretty much every other game out there within a month, for at least 2 months. Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring. WuWa is undoubtedly getting people hyped, and it's no secret that we all love the parry and dodge system. SotE is being massively awaited however, and focuses around that combat with a massive playerbase, some if not most in the 16+ category being fans of both. Am i gonna play WuWa still afterwards? Of course i am. It's a good game that receives continuous updates, so what we're gonna see is the waterslide effect. We have a high ramp now, things are gonna drop for awhile, and every bump and ridge that slide has could be equated to content updates. Players are gonna come back for the updates, same way we do with HSR and other games, and casuals will fade out and back in with each update. What WuWa has however, is replayability factor DUE to that immersive combat system. It feels good going out there and just fighting things for the sake of just doing it versus Genshin who makes it feel like a back and forth skill swap chore; so WuWa also has retainability factors for those who flat out just like combat and parkour with an anime waifu/guyfu with no reward except being able to say something like "I kicked those lv 120 twin heron's ass at lv 50 all on my own".
I've been in the WW subreddit for a while now, just a bit after the game was announced, and most, if not all, of the people are from PGR. PGR GL since launch have been targeted and harassed for any and no reason at all besides existing, and it's not hard to guess who and where the harassment was coming from. now comes WW. you think it will get a different treatment from PGR even though it's also from Kuro Games and will be directly competing with GI? lol. the doomposting and the insult towards the people excited for the release of WW has been going on for around 2 years so it's not surprising that negative criticism, even valid ones, will be considered hostile. i will admit though that since WW blew up the subreddit grew to the point that weird people have been showing up. it's a whole different subreddit at this point.

story is improved i guess but never kept with it.. then theres open world bosses to have fun testing damage and all.. but now even solos or group of 3-4 peeps can clear them within mins.. so u barely find alive bosses.. and every single one of open world normal enemies dont even require using abilities or skills.. they die in like 2-3 normal attack.. it became boring for me rq and i left the game

Excatly the gaming sweet spot is the best! I like easy progress but hard endgame and collecting things. Plus exploration with discovering things on my own. I like to call this easy hardcore playing. Low skill floor but with super high skill ceiling.

i havnt played tof in a long time but the only glitch ive ever had happen to me was one time where i did a like dash attack thingy and my char teleported like halfway across the first island place ... but other than that i dont remember any bugs ngl ... i kinda just stopped playing tof cuz i started to not like gacha due to genshin lel

I played TOF when it came out, when exploration was locked behind timers and when crow jump glider spamming was the meta. I stopped before nemesis banner ended and I can confidently say that I never experienced any bugs, the servers always had tons of people, 20 guys sitting in front of one of those mini boss guys that respawn every 5 minutes for hours, just to farm for a part for the horse mount. Only reason I dropped the game was because exploration was locked behind timers, as I said before.
It has again some glitchs like this nowadays. 😅

Welp I guess I am unique in this. Cause I play HSR constant and try to max out my rewards for it all the time. I also just like how relaxing it is to farm materials. Also it is a fair argument to say when they have nothing to do they will drop it...cause I did that with Genshin. After Inazuma I dropped the game cause it was way too boring for me. But Malenia Blade of Miquella is gonna be hard no matter what. Learning the patterns and learning the dodge timings makes it easier, not the level.

Then I came back to it 1,5 years later and there was way more stuff in the game, played ever since.

Tower of Fantasy gets shit on so regularly that I'm almost intrigued enough to try it just to see how awful it is.
From what I've heard most of the release issues are gone, but the main complaints I've seen is it being not very new player friendly, farming some items being tedious and powercreep being wild if you want to que up as a competitive dps
from my experience, they time gate like chest so u have to wait like the next day or in a few days before collecting them, which is a pretty awful change but idk if they changed that since it was like that since release

They are releasing the 4th planet soon, so there is no lack of content for people entering the game now.

but it was powercreeping so fast, im frost main there...also light spender.
from experience, wuthering waves start of the game compared to ToF start of the game...wuthering waves feels better no offense.
also i still play genshin, c6 itto r2, zhongli c2 r1, and i do have all the other geo limited characters at c0 geo supremacy and 36 star all the abyss of fontaine.
the start of genshin u get basically keaya, lisa, barbara. sorry but the start characters clunky especially lisa. but noelle and geo traveler okay, one of the reasons i main geo.
had a bad first year saving up for 5 star was a pain, the longest i hoarded premos is start of sumeru, i took a break and came back for fontaine and still had 180k primogems and 80 limited fates don't mean to flex :P
then i c6 my itto so im broke now.

When I started my Honkai Account my Genshin basically rottet away... Now, I have a diff. view of genshin. At this point Genshin is the wish version from Honkai for me. Genshin was lucky and came first, Honkai has better Quallity (personal Option), better way to build yourself up ftp (personal Option), having good Events/Stories(personal Option), free 5 Star Ratio.... like com on. All this is well and good, but Ratsu forgot one key component that's gonna slow down both WuWa, Genshin, and pretty much every other game out there within a month, for at least 2 months. Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring. WuWa is undoubtedly getting people hyped, and it's no secret that we all love the parry and dodge system. SotE is being massively awaited however, and focuses around that combat with a massive playerbase, some if not most in the 16+ category being fans of both. Am i gonna play WuWa still afterwards? Of course i am. It's a good game that receives continuous updates, so what we're gonna see is the waterslide effect. We have a high ramp now, things are gonna drop for awhile, and every bump and ridge that slide has could be equated to content updates. Players are gonna come back for the updates, same way we do with HSR and other games, and casuals will fade out and back in with each update. What WuWa has however, is replayability factor DUE to that immersive combat system. It feels good going out there and just fighting things for the sake of just doing it versus Genshin who makes it feel like a back and forth skill swap chore; so WuWa also has retainability factors for those who flat out just like combat and parkour with an anime waifu/guyfu with no reward except being able to say something like "I kicked those lv 120 twin heron's ass at lv 50 all on my own".

I've been in the WW subreddit for a while now, just a bit after the game was announced, and most, if not all, of the people are from PGR.
PGR GL since launch have been targeted and harassed for any and no reason at all besides existing, and it's not hard to guess who and where the harassment was coming from. now comes WW. you think it will get a different treatment from PGR even though it's also from Kuro Games and will be directly competing with GI? lol. the doomposting and the insult towards the people excited for the release of WW has been going on for around 2 years so it's not surprising that negative criticism, even valid ones, will be considered hostile.
i will admit though that since WW blew up the subreddit grew to the point that weird people have been showing up. it's a whole different subreddit at this point.
