      I've been configuring my kit as well just some advice bear in mind that the unit needs some tlc in every lighting condition, when watching playing in dark environments make the brightness around 17 to 25 this is so that the light bar can even switch of some parts to even show the blacks in scenes 😎😎😎

    I really wanted this product, but after watching multiple reviews I became discouraged. I would see random purples and reds displayed on the backlight when those colors weren't present on screen. None of the previous reviews I saw took the time to dial in accurate settings like you did. This was the best demonstration of what this product can acheive. Great video, glad I found your channel today! P.S. you were also the only person who even attempted to place the camera below the screen. That was another point of concern, I dont like how it looks mounted on top of the tv. But now I know I can conceal the camera below screen and out of sight. Very thoughtful approach all around, you have earned a new fan! 👍

      I will say that I understand the concern and some greys get picked up as blue purples as red etc but honestly when you aren’t dead focused on the backgrounds lights it’s hardly noticeable I almost didn’t get them for the same reason but after using them for a couple days now I will say it’s really not that bad but that’s my opinion so do with it what you will.

    I’m hoping this comment reaches you for help. I don’t understand how you can get the colors to split in the back? If I have two colors on my screen, it seems to just stick with one and it’s not splitting the colors like yours does. Like if one side on my tv is blue and the other side is yellow. It picks one color and it’s not splitting. Any help would be great. I’ve changed all my settings like your video recommended. I’ve also re-calberated the screen with the orange sponges. I’m lost and could use your advice. Thanks you

I have a LG C1 TV and the bezel/ trim is super thin and feel like the image doesn’t start exactly at it if that makes sense. When using the orange squares to calibrate did you literally put it right at the corners or cheat in a little? Do they sell the new light bars from the kit separately? If not, are there plans to?

  • @HavenJaede

    How are you able to treat the light bars as two seperate entities? I dont see the option in the app, and in Dreamview settings, it just treats the Flow+ as one solid unit.

      Haha that was what I did on my own at the beggining but had no idea if it was correct, I Wonder if the 1 is the bottom of the left light, then 2 middle, and 3 the top of the left, with 4 being the bottom of the right n so on.@@HavenJaede

    I have an 85 inch tv. The only option for me would be the led strip without the light bars. From what I understand I would be getting an older version of the led strip, that is not as accurate in reproducing whites. Am I getting this right? Thank you

    • @MrTekSuggest
      @MrTekSuggest  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man, that isn’t fully correct . The H6199 76-85 inch model performs extraordinarily well. It features saturation and white balance adjustments. I actually recently installed on my 75” TV. The 76-85 model actually launched after the combo kit (H6058). So it’s technically a bit newer (though they perform just the same in my estimation). You may find this video helpful as well: th-cam.com/video/mY_YC-TtNq8/w-d-xo.html

    • @yatsumoto
      @yatsumoto 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrTekSuggest yes, the video you linked made me question if I should get the H6199 or if I should wait for the H605B to be made available for 75-85 inches. I am not really that interested in the light bars, but I would like to have the best color accuracy for the light strip, especially as I watch mostly movies and the skin tones seem to look better and less pink than on the H6199, as you also said in the video. Do you think that the differences in color reproduction are hardware or software related? Maybe it could be improved on the H6199 with a software update to match H605B. Thank you

    • @MrTekSuggest
      @MrTekSuggest  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@yatsumoto Gotcha. The H6199 discussed in the video is specific to the older 55-65” model. Because the newer H6199 for 75/85” didn’t drop until months later. I also suspect since the DreamView rebrand from the Immersion naming, the 65-75 hardware has been revised to perform more in line with 75-85 ( and to support DreamView Sync/highlight feature) Govee probably should have given the 2 sizes different model naming to avoid this kind of confusion.

    • @yatsumoto
      @yatsumoto 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey man, after checking for any recent updates, and a fresh calibration of the camera, make sure that there aren’t any external lights that might be hitting your screen and causing the inaccuracy.
