    Another way to tune it is 85% saturation and 36% brightness. Not as accurate but looks amazing

      I've been configuring my kit as well just some advice bear in mind that the unit needs some tlc in every lighting condition, when watching playing in dark environments make the brightness around 17 to 25 this is so that the light bar can even switch of some parts to even show the blacks in scenes 😎😎😎

    I really wanted this product, but after watching multiple reviews I became discouraged. I would see random purples and reds displayed on the backlight when those colors weren't present on screen. None of the previous reviews I saw took the time to dial in accurate settings like you did. This was the best demonstration of what this product can acheive. Great video, glad I found your channel today! P.S. you were also the only person who even attempted to place the camera below the screen. That was another point of concern, I dont like how it looks mounted on top of the tv. But now I know I can conceal the camera below screen and out of sight. Very thoughtful approach all around, you have earned a new fan! 👍

      I will say that I understand the concern and some greys get picked up as blue purples as red etc but honestly when you aren’t dead focused on the backgrounds lights it’s hardly noticeable I almost didn’t get them for the same reason but after using them for a couple days now I will say it’s really not that bad but that’s my opinion so do with it what you will.

    They really should add a percentage or an indicator on the saturation and white balance bars.
    it would be easier to tweak.

Or I can use bars and strip and get uniform colour on all three lights ? Or just the H6199 immersion TV strip with RGBic coated strip without bars ? Like the work btw,and subed ofc...

    I’m hoping this comment reaches you for help. I don’t understand how you can get the colors to split in the back? If I have two colors on my screen, it seems to just stick with one and it’s not splitting the colors like yours does. Like if one side on my tv is blue and the other side is yellow. It picks one color and it’s not splitting. Any help would be great. I’ve changed all my settings like your video recommended. I’ve also re-calberated the screen with the orange sponges. I’m lost and could use your advice. Thanks you

I have a LG C1 TV and the bezel/ trim is super thin and feel like the image doesn’t start exactly at it if that makes sense. When using the orange squares to calibrate did you literally put it right at the corners or cheat in a little? When watching TV selecting ALL instead of PART seems like the only option for it to look decent but want to use the part option. Also, im guessing this doesn’t work the best when watching sports? I have a 85 inch Sony and tried everything you have suggested and it doesn’t even get close to your performance. I feel as if the 85 inch is simply too big for the camera to pick up anything other than the primary color in the middle of the screen. I simple have the same color around the TV at all times. At not point does the strip decide into the colors. I’m just going to use it for backlight only but the color situation is not good. I would have to assume it works much better on a 75 or smaller.

    The latest boxes do not have the white balance. Apparently the new chipset can make the corrections automatically.

    I have the newest hardware for the control box and light strips, and the latest firmware/app version. I've also power cycled everything. Still, I don't have a white balance setting :( Govee customer support claims that the newer cameras have auto white balance and do not need the setting, which sounds like a bullshit answer to me. Excellent video by the way!

      What model and hardware version are you using?

    • @NeutralGenericUser
      @NeutralGenericUser 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MrTekSuggest I just realized I have the old HW version (1.00.01). That's ridiculous that they sell both under 1 label. I just bought it less than a week ago from Amazon too. I'm gonna contact Govee to see if they'll send me the new one. I wonder if just the new box is good enough. I really don't want to deal with taking down the strips

    • @MrTekSuggest
      @MrTekSuggest  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@NeutralGenericUser Swapping in the new box with the existing strip should suffice. Try to have them send out hardware 3.02.01 or higher

      @@MrTekSuggest Awesome; thank you so much! P.S. I've said it before, but I'll say it again. Absolutely loving your content. Reminds me of TH-cam back in the days before everything became filler/sponsored content. You have such an excellent presentation, and I love your sense of style when it comes to decor. You should do a room tour! I know you've posted specific items you have in your setup, but it'd be cool to see the whole thing in one video.
