Hey nice! I was out there in (one of) the gray miatas! It looked pretty tricky for the all 86s out there with sticky tires to maintain slides. Probably had a less scary drive home though lol 😅
Good practice guy 👍 Gotta maintain throttle a lot more. 1. Clutch kick to initiate the drift, 2. Apply throttle. More throttle usually gives more angle and less throttle gives less angle. 3. To stop the drift smoothly let off the throttle slowly, you tend to just release it which jerks the car. Be smooth
Thanks for the advice! I was not really looking to clutch kick, to save wear and tear, but i definitely need to practice and learn throttle control much better!
Great practice! Which tires are those? Michelin PS3S? Mine are always very hard to drift with, even in the rain, very unpredictable. They grip amazingly well on high speed corners though, which is what they’re made for. My winter tires however Blizzak WS90 are amazing for rain and snow. Very easy to initiate and maintain an angle.
