  • Today I am back in my beauty salon getting ready for my trip to meet you all at the Ritz. Many of you have asked me about how to choose foundation online, so in the video I am demonstrating how to get the best from your foundation and how to ensure that you choose the right colour to suit your skin tone.
    In the video I am applying:
    Smooth Like Silk Face Prime: bit.ly/2USNS7D
    Continuous Cover Foundation: bit.ly/3aYwQur
    Cover to Cover Conceal: bit.ly/2JSQcoQ
    And to finish my face makeup I would then apply:
    Instant Bright Highlighter: bit.ly/2y4vDD7
    Radiance Blush: bit.ly/2JVfRx2

    Thank you for this wonderful demonstration on the value of foundation for the mature face. I definitely agree with you that it polishes and smooths the face making it appear more healthy and youthful. I believe this to be true, even if your skin condition is good. An older skin just seems more pale and uneven in tone and looks so much more glowing with the right makeup.

    Thank you Tricia, I do mine the same, I used to put it on with my fingers, but I now have your brush, and I am sure it looks better. Never using a brush for foundation before, it took a bit of getting used to, but I am an expert now and wouldn't go back to my fingers. Thank you.

    Thank you, Tricia, for your tutorial. This is my first one (no fault of your's of course). It was very helpful to me as you always look so "put together" and beautiful, it helps to see your "virgin" skin and know that you face some of the same problems as I do. I'm going to order more of your products now. I ordered years ago and what I purchased, just didn't work for me (no fault of the product, I'm sure). First off, I am 81, soon to be 82, and I struggle with foundation leaving lines on my face especially under my eyes and my eye lids. Look forward to trying your products again. PS: Tricia! I noticed in your video, that you have a similar problem as I do and that is between the lips and nose. Your skin is much lighter there as was mine. I researched the cause and found it to be from my digestive system. I have worked on that and the whiteness is gone. Just a bit of help from me. Needless to say, I am no authority. Thank you again.

    Enjoyed this very much - picked up some tips even though I have been using LFF for quite a while!! You are right about the brush cleaner - best I have ever used - you inspired me to go wash my brushes!

    Do you use an SPF daily? And if so, which one do you use. Here in the US, I find that the use of spf's is pretty fanatical - I know of many people who put it on even if staying at home (which, of course, means all of us!) as they are of the opinion that light from your windows is very damaging. I am not dismissing the wearing of a sunscreen when you will be out in the sun for longer than 20 minutes, but also think that the sun is beneficial. The amount of sunscreen one would have to use (shot glass full) to get the factor printed on the bottle is a huge amount, and I suspect more than most people would use. Plus it needs to be re-applied every 2 hours to keep the protection. Controversial subject, I know. Would love your thoughts.

    Tricia I`ve noticed you didn`t apply foundation underneath your nose and upper lip. Is there a reason for this? By way I absolutely LOVE your videos. They almost make me forget all about this awful time we`re all living through. Thank you...

    • @LookFabForever

      You can apply SPF during your skincare routine, we suggest that you apply it after moisturiser, before you prime your skin for makeup - Hope this helps, LFF Team x

    What if you have very dry skin and like in a very dry climate? I find in about 4 hrs, I look like the Sahara! Any suggestions?

    • @LookFabForever
      @LookFabForever  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there, thank you so much for your comment! For very dry skin, the most important part of your makeup routine is the skincare routine that comes before it! Our skincare is designed to hydrate, moisturise and brighten mature skin. You can find our products at:
      www.lookfabulousforever.com/skincare-for-older-women
      We particularly recommend the Hydration Hold Face Serum if you are in need of some intense moisture therapy. Hope this helps! LFF Team x

    • @LookFabForever

      Hi Alicia, thank you for your comment! We would recommend our foundation shade 3.5 for your skin tone (shop here: www.lookfabulousforever.com/continuous-cover-foundation) . And yes you can return it! With Tricia's 30 day guarantee you can return any products that don't quite work for you for a different colour, product or a full refund within 30 days. I have rosacea too, and it can be a pain. I have a good medication for it. I have very fair skin. Number one would be for me I'm guessing. I don't want one color on my face and another on my neck! LOL! I've seen that before and it looks awful. I need a good concealer for my dark circles under my eyes.

    • @LookFabForever
      @LookFabForever  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Amy - you're right, if you have pink undertones and very fair skin we would definitely recommend Foundation shade 01 for you. We would also recommend our Cover to Cover Concealer to hide any stubborn dark circles under your eyes, and that would be in shade 01 for you as well. As Tricia mentions, setting the concealer with a translucent powder will really give a polished finish to the look. Enjoy! - LFF Team x

    I am totally los! New at watching TH-cam videos. I don't see anywhere the name of the products you're using. Do you not list each and every item that you are using, including brushes and every other product. I'm completely lost how to go about inquiring price and how to purchase and where to purchse. I must be missing something, or somewhere, to find the answers. Please helop!
