I’m so grateful for your response Tricia. I reside in Australia Tricia, originally from Scotland. I’m 76, but in spite of living in a country where many spend so much time in the sun I have not. My skin is good for my age.
I am just getting some sun spots. As they say ‘old age doesn’t come alone’
Time just seems to be whooshing along…..one minute you are in your 60’s. then you are in the 70’s…then you are in the latter part of 70’s. Thank you for your videos, they are marvellous.
I just had to add a note about your eye makeup - it looks SO GOOD! Again, 2 more things I stopped wearing years ago - eye shadow and liner! I have large eyes, quite hooded at this point in time, so it's been easier to just skip those two things. But you have inspired me to try again! Thank you so much for the demonstration. Your makeup just looks incredibly beautiful. I hope I can do half as well! This is the first time I have watched one of your videos, but won't be the last!
Love the lip color and it looks very nice on you. Couple tips to make those eyes really open and lift: 1) When you make the little tail at the outer corner, instead of doing it when you get to the corner when applying product to the upper lid, do it when you are coming up to that corner as you are putting product on the lower lid. This way the flick is upward and appears to lift the outer corner. 2) Curl those lashes! I don't care how old a person is, they achieve huge benefits by curling the lashes.
You are so right about the eye liner and about curling the lashes!

I really enjoyed this. Using the round "sponge" is such a good idea. I love mascara. I lost pretty much all my eye lashes and eyebrows after chemo, and that was 7 years ago, so I really think they are gone. You are very beautiful. I really like your choices of products.

You look beautiful! I’ve had to stop wearing makeup because my eyes burn so bad from whatever is in cosmetics.
Lovely look. Unfortunately, my hands shake so much that I end up with eye shadow and eyeliner all over the place. I will try a darker shadow as my eyeliner next time to see if it will help.

Such great colours. Thank you for sharing your process, lovely result. For all the ladies out there who have age spots - squeeze a lemon and apply the juice with a q-tip to the spot. Do it every day and in about a week, you will notice a difference.

Below, one of your ladies said she stopped using eyeshadow/liner. I stopped using eyebrow pencil & blusher. I honestly couldn’t tell you why. You have now shown me each make a huge difference. This was my first time viewing you. I so enjoyed the video. I look forward to the next time.

I didn't think that eyeshadow choice would work. I never thought of using a dark eyeshadow as a liner until I show her do it. It makes a softer effect than the gel or pencil as she said. We all need to adjust our makeup when we get older. What worked at 20 doesn't work at 60.

I always have trouble doing my brows!
I gave up wearing makeup because my eyes just get red and watery whenever I wear eyeshadow or mascara...

You look fantastic! I was amazed by how much the brow shaper changed you to look so much more awake and "bright"! I've never liked it on myself, but seeing what it did for you - I'm going to keep trying until I get it to look "right" for my face! I have thin brows like yours, so thought that left me out for brow color and shaping. Thank you so much for showing me differently! Btw, I'll be 75 in March.

Love the way your makeup looks, but I get concerned about powder being used for my eyelines because I assume it will get into my eyes? Any feedback for that issue? I also have a bad tremor in my hands and head so it's so hard to try eye makeup again, but I want to try. I am 69 and have very plain eyes that need help.

You look good with or without makeup! Have never heard of foundation primer! But from your explanation I can understand why it’s so useful.
My issue I have a problem with are my eyelids, which suddenly decided to droop, so I can’t see where to put eye shadow anymore!
I have invested in so small plastic devices that you stick on your eyelid and it’s supposed to hold the puffy eyelid up and off the lower lid!
My partner and I, both in early 70’s have been planning to marry in May/June, and I bought them to wear then. Unfortunately my partner has just been taken unwell, so I don’t know if the wedding will actually happen. Please keep all your fingers crossed for us.
He loves to see my face with soft makeup applications after watching you, so Thankyou. One last thing, I take after my father for bushy eyebrows,

My sister told me that "age spots" are really "sun spots". Her doctor told her so. He said "All your skin is the same age, but you only get spots where skin has been exposed to sun." So he calls them "sun spots".
You do a beautiful job with your make up. I also am very pale. You surprised me with the brown eyebrow pencil. I thought you would use blonde. I like the color you used.
A friend of my daughter’s, who is a Make-Up Artist, once told her if nothing else always put a Factor 50 or over sun-screen on your face & hands as even when the sun doesn’t look to be shining the ‘bad’ rays will damage the skin where it isn’t covered. I don’t wear it in Winter on my hands as I wear gloves but as soon as the gloves come off I wear sun-screen on my hands. I have under 5 age spot on both hands & none on my face….I’ve a fair skin & am over 70.
