Enjoyed the tram ride in the snow. Tram stops seem to be quite far apart, guess that is good for passengers who want to exercise a walk to and from them. Thanks for taking me along.

It is funny that the Netherlands is as Northern as the major cities in Alberta. The South of the Netherlands is as northern as Calgary, and the Northern part of the Netherlands as Northern as Edmonton. But the weather is significantly less extreme in the Netherlands. This is due to the Netherlands having a very mild sea-climate, and because it is on the different side of the Atlantic ocean. The European part of the Atlantic ocean often sees the warmer wind streams.
Snow is quite rare in the Netherlands these days. There are often only a couple days of snow in the Netherlands. And if there's snow, it often quickly disappears, because the temperature during the days is often above 0 degrees celsius. It is the first time in a long time (over a decade) there is so much snow during a snowstorm and over a week of freezing during the day and night after the snow.

Ik werk zelf niet bij HTM, maar bij Goudenregenstraat/Remise Lijsterbes hadden ze daar wel last van zag ik..
Ook loosduinseweg in de ochtend stond half vast op de route van 12 :P

Denk het niet, KART zal denk ik gewoon wat strak afgesteld staan.

..in the US this video evidence can get a tram driver sacked on the spot.
I think the signal for that GTL(Red tram) wasn't red. Sometimes the KART "Ontruimingstijd" is too short to clear the intersection.

@@arfanvlk9351 ouch... that means there's a serious shortcoming in this traffic light programming system. The grey car at 19:05 nearly avoids a serious collision with the tram while it (both car and the tram this video is taken from) had at 18:55 already green light. So this has nothing to do with clearing times.. The GTL tram driver rode a red light; clear and simple... and that's a serious offence..
@@appelscha23 no the gtl passed a white light they just don't give them enough to time to clear the intersection
