Great video and great idea....with some caveats! First - sorry, but it's a bit harsh to judge a place out of 10 on quality of cocktails when you only have one, and choose a minger! If you're going to vote for quality you either need to get the same drink in each bar, try more than one, or make sure to order something you know you will like. Words like "I have no idea what I'm ordering" then giving it a 3 out of 10 is not fair!!! Second - if you do it again, can I suggest you try The Langham, and also Dukes Bar in the Dukes Hotel (down the road from and behind the Ritz) where you can get an insane Martini, and also a Vesper Martini (which you should have got in the Dorchester Vesper Bar!). Then there is Side Hustle, in NoMad, Covent Garden, Bar Américain in Soho, The American Bar at the Savoy (not the one you went to) - all these are in central London. Plenty more if you want to go further afield. But for all of these, ditch the trainers, especially Dukes.
Fun Fact: The smoke from the trees is actually steam being vented out from the London underground system. Most commonly from the heating and cooling systems but it can be from other sources too. You'll see this happening in New York City also.

You missed a gem with the green bar on regent street, its inside the hotel cafe royal and focuses on absinthe selections and classics with drinks been around 25 MINIMUM Or you can just accidentally a top shelf in jakes or rolands on call lane and pay that for a single measure LOL

My experience between a four star hotel bar serving a cocktail at £17, and a nearby boozer selling it at £7 is that the tenner isn't worth it. The LIIT that I had for example tasted just as good, since it's made out of almost the same brand of spirits anyway. Very different vibe of course (sophisticated vs casual) but the drinks aren't reflected in the price, the environment is
Mate I live off absinthe cocktails across all of Leeds so call lane, merrion Street, park row etc.. it may make an interesting comparison across all the indie venues because poo to corporations because costs (minus industry discounts) can be quite the variance

I was always told " never expect to have everything paid for you". If someone offers , great but if not don't demand or behave like an entitled idiot (no matter who you are). You can offer to buy/pay for something for someone else but if they say no, then let it be. We were always brought up to take turns when paying and if you are out drinking: then it is just polite to do it as a round (for those who don't know what rounds are: 1 person at a time, orders drinks for the whole table including yourself. Unless someone doesn't want a drink or wants to pay for their own). I hate london personally so would probably never go to any of the posh pubs. However, i do like when places are clean and well organised. Good atmosphere and security/safety is a must (lots of spiking these days). Great vid. I rarely have a cock, prefer hard spirits with diet coke or lemonade. Lol. Liquers are good too. Xx
yeah I think she expected her group to have their drinks paid for them because they let the guys sit with them as the bar was busy, which seems a big ask to me
