    Please do a part 2! I’m going through this exact same thing and would love to hear about your stem cell transplant experience.

    I have a Hodgkin’s recurrence and have been nervous about the next steps. This video has not only helped me feel like I have some idea of what’s next, but has also helped my family and friends. I appreciate so much that you posted this. I am amazed by you!

    Your brows look amazing! I'm relapsed and heading into that now. Wondering if I can squeeze in brow microblading before I start

    Thanks for making this video - I'm in the exact same position. I have some refractory Hodgkin's and I've started undergoing BvB waiting for a clear scan. It's really disheartening to hear that a treatment that works on most people didn't completely work on me but it's reassuring to know that I'm not alone. I'm nervous about eventually getting a bone marrow biopsy though! My pain tolerance isn't super high and to be honest, I had a big fear of needles before all this cancer junk came up. I'll probably ask them to sedate me or something. Do you have any advice? Glad to hear you're doing well! :)

      my bone marrow biopsy was painful but i just talked through it, laughed as much as I could. my partner was with me holding my hand so that helped a ton. you can ask for the anti-anxiety pill I think, I didn't take it but I know it helps some people. good luck!!

      @@JG-ix5xr Hey Joy! I'm very sorry to hear about what your sister is going through. I got my transplant back in July and am doing great. I ended up getting a month of radiation therapy post-transplant and am currently doing maintenance therapy, but my hair is back (softer and curlier) and my strength and endurance are on par to what it was before I got diagnosed with cancer. I actually got back to college (all online, of course) less than two weeks after I was discharged from the hospital! Transplants are nerve-wracking for both the patient and the family. I was extremely nervous before mine because I wasn’t allowed to have any visitors and I’m not great with medical procedures. I was 20 at the time and it was super overwhelming. I felt so “abnormal” leading up to it if that makes any sense. But, I promise you that the feeling is temporary and passes quickly. You will all get through it, and I bet it won’t be as bad as you think it will be.
      Let me know if you have any questions about anything. I’d be happy to be of any assistance. 😊

      @@AnshJhatakiahey how are you now?? My husband is having immunotherapy now and his transplant is planned after 2 months...

    I was diagnosed with HL IVB and did the same chemo regimen but my post chemo scan showed that I pretty much stopped responding after the check in scan we did after 4 infusions. I’m literally going through the same exact thing right now. We’re discussing a stem cell transplant and I am terrified

      It is hard because it’s scary but mentally I just checked out and slept a lot, honestly once it’s done looking back it feels “easy” in comparison to having cancer. Winning feels good. Focus on winning.

    Erika do you have stage 2a or b? Sorry for all the questions!

    • @erikamargurite6292
      @erikamargurite6292  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nat Say I don’t know. Classical Hodgkin’s stage two is all I know.

    • @natsay3073
      @natsay3073 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did you have the classical symptoms of high fever, night sweats and unintentional weight loss? If so you are a stage 2b, if you did not have any symptoms besides the lymph nodes then you are a stage 2a. I am a stage 2a
