Actually, that "triumphant song" scene in Food Fight was inspired by the bar scene in Casablanca where the Nazis get drunk and start singing Nazi songs and the French respond by singing the Marseillaise, but Critic compared the scene to Barb Wire because this movie is a blatant ripoff.
How can you review this movie and not name drop the single best German character actor in the world? Udo Kier is a friggin monster and deserves to at least be mentioned...
This movie makes me sad because I have so much respect for Pamela Anderson for her work for animal and human rights and using her reputation as a glamour model to boost awareness for such issues but I know that thanks to pieces of media like this that she's just going to be known for having a desirable body and nothing more.
"animal rights" yeah, she advocates for PETA (which already speaks of her standards) against using animal products yet drives cars with real leather interiors.
This movie is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. It's not too hard to find it entertaining. Just shut off your brain, and enjoy watching the action scenes, explosions and the blonde big breasted former playboy model bouncing around on the screen.
This was back during the dark time of comic book movies. No one really read or had even heard of "Barb Wire". It wasn't a popular comic aside from among a very... shall we say... niche audience. But Hollywood back then thought that in order to make comic book movies they had to make them dark, because dark=grown up (This is the state of mind that the DC movie producers are STILL stuck in.). The other thing they wanted to do to legitimize their comic book movies besides make them dark,, was make them sexy. That's how we ended up with this crap, and Catwoman. It was a sad, sad, time to be a comic book fan.
I remember watching Stripperella with my uncle as a teenager, he loved it that show. I thought it was so silly, I had no idea there was a movie that was basically the same thing. Bet he would have loved to see it.
Honestly the blind brother is the only good character in this movie. Hes not written that bad and a blind sibling is not something you see that much in media.
Every time Critic does his goofy laugh, I cannot help but remember the goofy laugh from Batman and Robin review with the most hilarious facial expression!
I have actually heard of a lot of the supporting actors in the movie! Udo Kier voiced Professor Pericles on Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, Victoria Rowell was Drucilla on The Young and the Restless, and Amanda on Diagnosis Murder, Xander Berkeley played Sissy Spacek's husband in the 1974 segment of If These Walls Could Talk, and Clint Howard was on Gentle Ben and is Ron Howard's brother.
The Barb Wire movie died as soon as the writers decided to not include iconic charecters like Deathcard, Moterhead and the Machine Go read the comics (first read comics greatest world: steel harbor, then the dark horse Barb wire omnibus. F the 2015 revival)
I’m watching some old nostalgic critic reviews and seeing what the setting plot of the movie turns out to be: it’s similar to how PR China 🇨🇳 is gripping control on Hong Kong 🇭🇰 like with the extradition bill protests happening right now.
Remember folks, Pam says you should stop watching porn, after she's made millions making tons of almost-porn (and sex tape) movies. Maybe it's just that there's a lot better acting in porn than anything she's ever managed to do?

It's like this movie was directed by Duke Nukem.

Even Duke Nukem

You have no idea of the irony of that because another famous bounty hunter is in this.
Jango Fett from the Clone Wars.

EDIT After doing some research turns out he was also in Green Lantern lol
His best performance was "Once Were Warriors" great movie but its not very fun to watch.
In all honesty, Temuera Morrison is much more badass-looking and -sounding then Jeremy Bulloch. I bought that he was Jango/Boba more than I bought that ol' scrawny-face was.
