Poetry in motion, in perfect sync., Biomechanical synchronisation at its finest, man & machine as one. Great music, I never tire of viewing this video, thanks for sharing.
Just watching cancellara makes me want to get out on the road, but it’s raining heavy and blowing 20mph winds. Great video, and a good motivational tune as well.
I think of Cancellera on the flats when I need to push hard and fast. I think of Contador on the way up (but I blow up completely anyways.) BUT when I'm in total pain the only thing I say is SHUT UP LEGS. Sometimes it works.
Used to be champion in the time-trial myself back in the day (40 years or so ago now!), Cancellara, currently my favorite bike rider, love his fluidity on the bike, reminds me of me, mind you at my age I wouldn't rely too much on the accuracy of my memory, it could all be some made up fantasy from years of daydreaming....................er!......what was I saying?
@tucnasam Ben Johnson was regularly tested. Maradona was regularly tested, Pantani (just to remain in cycling) was also regularly tested. As long as they are not caught the fans always think they don't cheat. However, the doping tests are the same in all countries and when the general prosecutor asks the goverment to abolish the anti-doping laws because it's nearly impossible to catch them, this should ring a bell. It's not true that less and less are doping.
you obviously didn't spot the sarcasm... people claimed cancellara has a bike that has a battery pack attached to the rear wheel and drives the bike forward an additional 3 mph or something, they think this because of his accellerations he can put together, just like armstrong can in climbs, which is also why people think armstrong was doped to hell in all 7 of his tour wins...
OK, I'm 46 years old, I developed asthma years ago (mild/exercise induced), I used to race (2nd cat. British Cycling license) but had to quit racing (26 years ago) 'cus my crap lungs and just ride for health/fitness/fun - and yet still on a good day I can do my 29.7 mile favorite route in 1hr 33mins (average 19.1mph). So then, a young/super fit/healthy pro rider....... should annihilate my time lol!!! Just like in this video!!!! Honestly? It's not drugs or an engine or an alien implant... it's called talent and hard work lol. In 15 years he'll be sloooooow lol. This video made me wanna grab my inhaler, ask my wife if I can go out to play, make sure the kids didn't need picking up from any after school clubs, and go ride my bike lol. Hey, just thought - does that make my time illegal 'cus I'm juiced on Ventolin lololol :-P
+Simon Tandy I'm in my late 60's now, and have been plagued with lung problems all my life, i had some success in the 60's and 70's but for the past 20 years cycling had become very difficult.. But, It's better to keep going, even if the speed is modest, keep going Simon regardless of speed.
@AlexCyclingFan A powerful ride? that was a monstrous ride, a ride the devil would've denied to hell. This man is a phenomenon at time trials. I'm very curious what speed he'll achieve at maximum performance...
@GShock112 They are all tested. So that is a small amount considering how many pros there are. Less and less are doping. Of course the 90's were terrible.

Cancellara is more faster on Cervelo TT bike and S-Works-Roubaix rather than TREK Leopard Bike, I think Trek bike is a little bit heavier and less aero dynamic.
cuando entrenas a conciencia ose el entrenamiento es muy fuerte y entrenas diariamente la bicicleta te desarrolla tus piernas te marcarlas piernas los músculos se te aden muy duros
@tucnasam Doubtful. Ullrich would be kicking his ass left and right. Even Armstrong said Ullrich is the most talented rider in the peloton. Armstrong, obviously is very talented himself. He could have easily been one of the best triathletes had he countinued that route, rather than solely focus on cycling. Many, though, say Ullrich was more talented, he just didn't train as much as he should have, but that's his problem. It's a shame, because we never really saw the best of him, IMO.
Incredible powerful pedaling style
3 Of the most inspirational riders in one thought bubble, couldn't have said it any better.

Over a minute and 29 seconds!! That is total domination! Such a beast! haha
i kinda like the music
5:43 the best part, lol!
I read somewhere that his crankset is a massive 42/56
High cadence is very useful on TT but it can be simply called doping by the motor.
Imagine if you give him all the R&D We have in 2024
The awkward moment when I came here again for the song. Bloody sexy song!
He's a machine. Great stuff.
Great video thanks for sharing, good song as well.
I love your riding, boy XD
I really liked the part where the music suddenly stopped
I think of Cancellera on the flats when I need to push hard and fast. I think of Contador on the way up (but I blow up completely anyways.) BUT when I'm in total pain the only thing I say is SHUT UP LEGS. Sometimes it works.
Soundtrack is Circ / Love Electric, song titled Somewhere.
Like you said Cancellara is my inspiration and when I fall behind on a race I think about this video and I m back on track.....
no one man should have all that power!!!!!!
Cacellara....what can you say...champion!!
Very Good!
BEST TIME TRIALIST IN THE WORLD!
What's the name of the song? Priceless video!
This man is not a man. He's a monster when it comes to time trial :D
Used to be champion in the time-trial myself back in the day (40 years or so ago now!), Cancellara, currently my favorite bike rider, love his fluidity on the bike, reminds me of me, mind you at my age I wouldn't rely too much on the accuracy of my memory, it could all be some made up fantasy from years of daydreaming....................er!......what was I saying?
great video to watch the master's form - thanks
@GShock112 Although that was Clenbuterol which is normally used to burn fat and build muscle
One day.. I will be like him.. I LOVE U CANCELLARA!!!!!!!!!
@tucnasam

Circ - Somewhere
great video about a great man

Cut out the dairy and asthma could go away.
Will try out, thanks.

Does anyone know the name of this soundtrack? Love this video.
Yes haha but most people take me seriously. Well done for not being so foolish
mighty human effort
I love my Cervelo, but it's really about the engine.
Why dont they use tt bikes on regular tours?
@GShock112 They are all tested. So that is a small amount considering how many pros there are. Less and less are doping. Of course the 90's were terrible.
@rgray1228 It's in the rain, wind, and cold that champions are made.
Armstrong: small gear, high cadence
Ulrich: big gear, low cadence
Cancelara: big gear, high cadence
Fabian Cancellar - The real "electrical" mean machine. ROTFL
@SirJazz what do you mean by big gear?
This guy is not human
@scientastic The music tag is incorrect. The artist is correct but the song title is wrong. The song is SOMEWHERE by CIRC.
THE SWISS BEAR!!!
Şu sıralar TH-cam eski videoları yok ediyor. Bunlar çok özel hatıralar. Dilerim kaybolmazlar.
Does any one no what cancellara's biggest victory margin was at the Worlds or Olympic Time Trial.
Dang. He is really motoring.
When do we get formula One style Watt / speed numbers. Wouldnt it be great to have live watt numbers on live tv!
Yes they do that now 😉
hes flying!
mi inspiracion para seguir pedaleando!!!
how many kilometers was that?
I would love for Fabian and really any pro cyclist or more specifically top pro being clean, but I just don't see it.
GOGO IDOL
And when you think of Armtrong, what are you doing then?
@Cmattesen that's true. I've only gotten up to 80 K/h.
NOOOOO ITS RELAXING
Di Luca says he can do this too.
@dpenaranda - i think it was 35 km.
evel TT Moster Fabian Cancellara!!!

Anyone have any idea of what sort of power output he would have at threshold?
470-500W
