I’m going through this now. It’s so stressful. I’ve never seen my feet, legs and hands look like this. I didn’t have this much swelling after childbirth.

Try an anti inflammation diet. Some breath work and don't drink too much water.

Thank you so much for all your videos, especially this one! My doctor does not talk to me about my symptoms at all. Unfortunately, here in BC, Canada, there is a family doctor shortage so I will have to wait for a very long time to find a doctor who helps me.

I wear knee high compression socks when I am on my feet for long periods. I have an active job so wear them then and when I am doing activities that include being on my feet, like hiking. Thank you for sharing all your valuable information, you are the best menopause information resource I have found yet online. :) :)

I'm 47 and going through this and I'm constantly worried that it's one of the awful reasons on Google; kidneys, liver, etc. It started about a year ago. I started walking 2 miles a day - didn't help. I started drinking more water - nothing. They are always swollen. Slightly in the morning when I wake up and then in an hour, starting to swell up more, all day. I had an ultrasound on my veins, fine. Bloodwork is ordered, but my last panels were fine. I honestly think it's perimenopause but I'm not sure what is safe to take. I hear both sides of taking herbal remedies - I feel like one has to be careful when experiementing with herbs ... I've tried compression socks and all that does is push the puffiness up further on my legs. They don't help. One ankle is always slightly more puffy than the other. Sometimes my feet ache or just feel numb. I'm a teacher and I am on my feet a lot, but I have never, ever had swelling until a year ago. And I do sit during the day as well. My face gets puffy too. In general, I'm discouraged.

Sorry to hear that you're finding it really difficult to resolve this, have you looked into acupuncture? This can often be helpful with stubborn symptoms so worth checking out

Hello, am going through menopause for the last five years, for the past two years I have this itching all over my body. I have visited my GP several times and he gave me allergy medicine. It worked for a while but the itching is now unbearable, doctor did blood test and said there is nothing wrong with me. I have not seen anyone talk about itching as a menopausal symptom. Am I alone? Help!

Are you having hot flashes? My OBGyn told me that hot flashes and anxiety go hand in hand. Could be anxiety. Effexor has helped my hot flashes and anxiety. I start itching or feeling little stings all over when it’s close to time to taking my medicine.

      Hi Emma
This is a difficult question to answer as it may depend on what the exact cause is. If it's hormone related rather than say, high blood pressure or arthritis, then yes, most women will see this ease.
