Matt, where you put that sheet of plywood run a wire from the alley to the outside wall with wire fed thru the grommets of a cheap tarp. You'd have easier access to the gate handle and could slide the tarp back and forth like a curtain.
Nice job betixt the both of you. I told you the back and forth would be great. I rocked the hat and Storla Station tshirt today at the fairgrounds for a craft far thing. Got approached from a lady who asked if we where from SD. Her parents are in ND and knew Marshall is near Storla. It is a smaller world than you might think. Great video.
You two work really good together. Unless she was smackin ya off camera.. ha ha. Was cool to hear you refer to Temple Grandin. She really made a difference in cattle movement. I'm a Rip Ranch fan too. Great people. Huge roundup with all the ranchers working together. Stay safe!
Temple Grandin's great cattle handling innovation. We built a few cattle yards using her princpials. The curved crush was exceptional; cattle came into the tub and did a right-hand turn. It was like water running down a pipe; they never stopped. Then the principal of a curved crush. As well as cattle movement, the walking required on a long crush from the end of a straight crush to the head bale on a big day wore you out. With the curved crush shaped like a U it was a walk accross from the end of the crush to the head bale.
That was awesome Matty handling system working a dream the board you put at the back so the couldn't see up the side great idea . You and Sassy Pants done an amazing job working those calves and loading the yearlings you made it all look easy What a team you are and that was some days work I was wondering is you're merch only for sale in America Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮
Did they fill the s and follow up without much push? The only drawback to stacking the alley seems to be that if one misses a step and goes to the ground the next one behind tries to move up before it can get back up…
Do ya'll know if Dane will be coming down to Texas at all this winter? We had an event at our church this past weekend and the guy we rented the calves from said something about mats and tried to remember Danes name and I was like, " holy crap that's Hunting Sodak", and I already knew about DF Cattle Mats.
@@haydenkrecek4157 hey thanks for checking go to dfcattlemats.com and Danes cell number is on there give him a call we’ll definitely get some mats down there 👍👍
Had an old bulldozer driver tell me that the only thing dumber than a cow was a truck driver. after he tore the front bumper off my truck pulling it, I assume he thought it was my fault the bumper came off
Matt has mentioned Temple Grandin. several times. If you would like to learn about this interesting woman and her work with cattle watch the movie about her life.. Unbaliveable person with her disability.
Line up processing in sturgis and feed out to finish. The new dept of ag head Thomas Massery has hired Joel Salitin on the fda board of advisors. You could do 1/4 sales and ship out with matt delivery. instrad of discounts bundle beef with large matt order and matts with an entire steer order. Cut out the packer monopolies and sell in SD ect Jerkey lasts a year, $30.00 a pound. Grass fonished means no gmo roundup ready corn finished fat cattle. Seven Sons online ordering model.

Good job guys and girls
I love you people!
My favorite t-shirt: "Sorry for what I said while we were sorting cattle".
If a beaver set up shop around there that bridge would become a fish structure!
They are robing you and I!
Might think about putting you a counter in that shoot Matt! 🙂
I would be tripping over that tire mat
i like Temples "S method" in the tub better because there's no reversing caves who self shoot the lane.
You have a great helper😅
