Hi. Just wondering what resort/timeshare/hotel you actually stayed at while you were at Playa del Carmen? Almost all the beaches we saw were rocky but the ones you showed in your video were quite nice.
i prefer staying in town, however hte beaches are much nicer towards tulum, akumel, etc. the beaches in playa are not as great water isn't as clear etc but the beach is the beach to me

If some of you want to live there there's rooms one and two bedroom apartments. Rooms as low as 200/month I wouldn't go for those unless temporary. The one and two bed rooms from 500 to 900/month. You could even rent the rooms a lot cheaper than what this guy is talking about.
Playa del Carmen es bonito, aunque se me hizo mucho más bonito Cozumel, lo único malo, es que sino esta uno secuestrado por los servicios de un hotel. NO HAY DONDE COMER, la mayoría de la comida es tipo gringa, hamburguesas, alitas de colesterol o comida muy cara sin chiste, eso si, todo te lo cobran al cambio del tipo de dolar... MUY CARO. El tema no es lo caro, sino lo mala que es la comida. Es preciso estar abonado en un hotel para comer sabroso... a veces.
dont just say it isn't great that adds nothing to the conversation. what didn't you like? i agree the beaches are better in jamaica but i love playa, great food, great bars, easy to get up and down coast cheaply and safely with the ADO busses, etc.
