Is a very large avenue with many stores and restaurants only an hour away of the downtown of Cancun my advice is use the auto service next to the ADO bus terminal, is cheaper than the bus it has conditioned air and you'll be there in a an hour exactly, playa del carmen is more like a common town of Mexico even more than Cancun the shore is like this only, at least i prefer to eat in a fonda, cheaper and tastier, I dont want to be negative but I'd like to see more of that amount of money reach the people native of there because most of them are poor but kind. Soy de Mexico y debemos hacer lo mejor para los que alli viven, fuera de eso si es un paraiso incluso para los que alli viven.

México pertenece a Norteamérica , no Centroamérica y menos Sudamérica, y los precios en dólar es porque es un destino turístico internacional, todo el año visitan ese destino turístico miles de extranjeros de todo el mundo.

We use Peso as much as possible. Know the exchange rate that they give compared to the actual bank exchange rate if using US$.
