Distrokid blocked my very first upload because I used an image from Unsplash. I informed them that those images are royalty free and have not had any problems using Unsplash images for Distrokid releases since.

What about releasing an original song but a section of which contains an original performance of a lyric and melody from an old song from the 50s? Is there a process to go thru or might it be safe assuming it doesn't blow up into a massive hit?
So, unfortunately it’s a complex and slippery slope. As soon as you use any part of a song or cover a melody or lyrics, it’s pretty much a cover. It’s much safer and easier to go 100% original.

Will it still take 2-3 days to process all 5 at once or will it take 10+ days as each song will take 2 days to process? Thanks.

A good question. Yes, it would for any TH-cam Music plays, and I assume it would for regular plays on TH-cam too. It's one of the reasons I haven't created an artist channel and merged my regular TH-cam channel with my Topic channel, because for me, I'm not sure how this would impact my TH-cam Partner Program revenue?
Regarding to tour statement, would the TH-cam artist channel be monetizing every video you have or just the ones that's profited. For example if you made a video for non profit use. There would not be any restrictions correct? I was looking into merging my channel too😅

And when i fill the artist name on song upload form i am typing my name and the other artist name in that column the result i get that distrokid is making one profile on both of our name but we want our different profile on one song but it is showing only on title on both names for example when we write in artist column steve and mike instead of making two profile on the both name it is creating only one profile on the name steve and mike please tell me i am in a problem my all music projects a getting delayed due to this issue . Hello, Pete. I got a question related to GarageBand IOS. So I was fixing my song, I was putting the guitar on tempo (because I was slightly off) and randomly I get this message saying “Non tempo-event found in sync reference” do you know what it certainly means?

Pete Johns I did, and in some cases it deleted the progress I made (as if it didn’t save) but thankfully I resolved the problem by merging two tracks and now I’m not getting it. And yeah, I haven’t seen it before either; it’s kinda weird.
The exact same song? Generally not. The stores are cracking down on this so any audio that is exactly the same and is trying to be re-released will be rejected. Contact DistroKid for more info.
