The Krishnagiri Dam is a dam that spans the Thenpennai River by the village of Dhuduganahalli, located in Krishnagiri district, Tamil Nadu, India. The Krishnagiri Dam is also known as Krishnagiri Reservoir Project (KRP) Dam.
The KRP Dam Park near the KRP Dam is developed and maintained by Tamil Nadu Public Works Department. This is a famous tourist spot. This dam is flooded with tourists during the weekends.
Entry ticket per person is ₹10. Two wheeler and four wheeler parking options available inside and outside the park. The park area really good for children's to spend their time and enjoy. You have many fountains, lawn and jogger track here. The KRP Dam and the park can be visited throughout the year. The park is open all days of the week. Krishnagiri dam park view is amazing with the mountain and the krishnagiri dam is breath taking view.
