It didn't work the 1st time because you should learn how to mount smd: 1. You added too much flux while mounting - absolutely can't do that. After reball or new component you can add only tiny amount with your finger on the board. You insted poored a barrel there. 2. You didn't check weather all the balls were soldered under the chip. How you do that? You must slightly touch the chip while hitting it up, so that it will move a 0.01 mm and get back. So basically the problem in your case was that the chip was not installed properly Sir!
nice repair! I managed to fix my ps4 with sync problems through 1 of your previous videos. Unfortunately that video is no longer on youtube. thanks a lot, keep up the good work!
I have a bunch of ps4 slim that I bought for parts and I believe I have a fee with south bridge issues. I guess I'll give them a 2nd look and see how many I can get working.
Good video, friend, a question a few months ago I took the console to repair since it had problems with the HDMI port and the video IC, they changed it and everything worked, but at one hour of play the console froze, that is, the image as a photo that according to what the technician told me, and he told me that according to most likely they have done a "reflow" to the chip but the console does not show me blue light, the console turns white.
Thanks mate. Its an Achi IR Pro SC. Unfortunately for anything reliable you really need to spend a fair amount of money for a proper infrared machine. Mine retails at around £800 buy you could do what I did and try and find one used on ebay. I got mine for £400 used
If there was still a little bit of fluff stuck in the first south bridge chip would it cause it to not work? It kinda looks like there was still a little there after you plucked it out but I’m not quite sure. PS: Loved that music bit 😜
Thanks for getting back to me!!!.Appreciate all your informative viedos and content, hope to soon to be a supporter of yours finicially!!!.thanks for all the info and being inspiring in all that u do!!!

Hi,
I get the same short but not under that chip well the under the CPU. So its mean that the CPU should be changed?

Perfect coder👏👏
You need some hot tweezers- they work real well - cost some money but work good - suggestion
Nice work brother, what is your Reballing machine model and can you advice any at cheap price?

Nice stuff bro
what temp do you run your iron at?
Nice video
You should hold the iron in the middle of that piece of wick. Then it sucks solder at both sides of the wick.
If there was still a little bit of fluff stuck in the first south bridge chip would it cause it to not work? It kinda looks like there was still a little there after you plucked it out but I’m not quite sure.
PS: Loved that music bit 😜
That would be possible but not very likely. Chances are the solder would've reformed around any fluff but it could've damaged the ball
Is it possible to put a retimer chip on a xbox one s motherboard backwards and have no power
Yes it will cause 5v to be either shorted or missing so it wouldn't be able to turn on

you are a genius 😆
makes a video about coil whine on ps4 and ps5 that looks like it comes from the power supply
Don't knock it till you have tried it, Dust tastes nice with a little bit of wee lmao.
Ooh might give that a try, sounds tasty 😂
PlayStation 4 pro. Fix not Working
I'm not sure what you mean sorry
Tony stark
But that’s how we all pronounce solder over here.
I friend u
check the pronunciation of solder in the oxford dictionary
Technically the yanks are right, it comes from the word sauder I think, but Louis trolls me so I like to troll him back 😂
@@TheCod3r In France they say 'souder'. That's where they got it.
Ah, the way to pronounce "solder".
5 month till now and the repair guy can't figure out the issue
