First time I've seen this one 👌🏻,tempted to look at the LPG conversion myself but going to see how this bigger Victron mppt fairs with more PV when I have time to get it wired up 😵‍💫

An old video this one! It may have been my first!! 🤣 so the Honda i22 is a peek number in watts, but with the cerbo i set the AC input to what you want, so at 7.5a which then the generator delivers 1650ish watts 👌🏼

Generators are just about a necessity if you want to maintain comfort. Well done. Have you thought of using a Cummins generator? I just looked at pricing they are coming up at over $3k.

      Thanks, Cummins no!
I went for petrol so i could also use the lpg when needed. We tend to use petrol 95% of the time, and the geni runs cooler on petrol too. Also we found its quite heavy on the LPG usage! But its the be all and end all when offgrid especially like i am now where the trucks not moved in weeks and very little solar.. so i’m topping up the batteries using the geni.

Great video, Just a side note to ensure the sound deadening foam is flame retardant as polyurethane foam is like napalm when it catches fire

Great bit of kit! Wish I had space to have it running inside a cabinet but my van size doesn't allow. I've got eu10i and the geargb LPG kit, going to set it up soon, I've got the door mount kit so shouldn't have issue with connector getting dirty since it's always gonna be connected to the regulator.

Make sure you have an isolation tap before your GB unit. And make sure you turn the tap off each time you’re finished with the generator as gas does escape.. 👍🏼

@@Overlandtraveladventure Just ordered a Bullfinch? lpg outlet point same as yours, that should turn off the gas, but maybe i should also fit a valve before that...

Love it Dave, may have a go at installing one on the camper . Thinking of mounting a locker on the Safe T Bar tow bracket . Was impressed with the noise suppression. 👍

Cheers, we all carry LPG so converting the geni made things far far easier, definitely recommend doing it 👍🏼

You have to be gas safe registered to do this with a lpg element simple rubber hoses, no lock outs for fuel fan failure
You should be careful that someone does the same potentially very dangerous .
    Sorry

All those conversion kits are half assed for max profits. None of them creators seem to have put any real thought or care into designing those kits.
It's sad Honda still doesn't offer their generators in multifuel.
