SWEET! Just ordered one today for my 2024 Indian Scout Bobber in sagebrush smoke! $721.00 all black with white logo. The shipping to here (Honolulu HI) is ridiculous! $178.00 USPS priority! $899.00 total price! As the saying goes.... you get what you paid for! Expecting to receive it around end of Feb.
Beautiful bike, what is the stitching style? Corbin only has option for diamond or tuck n roll stitching which is horizontal. Not vertical like your. would appreciate your input
Looks great thanks for the video. I asked about the stock bobber seat and the dealer said it needs time to break in but it is definitely uncomfortable. Do they make matching passenger seats?
Master Builder as of now, unfortunately they do not. I was thinking of getting the stock passenger seat at the time I purchased the bike - glad I didn’t!
Lovely bike, but what's that flap thing on the back of the new seat? Looks kind of annoyingly useless. The brown seat contrasts nicely with the black of the bike though!
Ryan, I got my seat and tried to install it this evening. I just couldn't get it right. That large wiring bundle was really in the way. Did you have any issues installing? Did it take you long? With that rear bracket, did you bolt it to the frame through the outer or inner hole? Maybe I am just spacing it wrong and not getting the angle right. :-(
Photo Biker it’s definitely not easy as a one man job. The best bet is to get some help. Have someone (strong) pull the wiring bundle up and forward, holding it out of the way - not fun. Once you attach the bracket, you’ll then have to work the bundle back below the bracket. We found the key to be as aggressive as possible in moving the wiring out of the way...let me know if this helps
Do you know what your seat stitching is called? The only option on their website I see is diamond but I like yours so much better. Diamond stitching is over done lol.
Can you tell me the color of the top of the seat? I'm configuring mine and I'm torn between the bomber jacket brown and Indian brown 2017. Thanks! Love your bobber!
Ryan Karchner that's the color I want..nice to see it on a bobber for real..looks great. I'm actually ordering the Rinehart slip on s because of your videos also..dont have the $$ for that tuner yet though..keep those videos going..the riding looks great up there!
kencolle1 glad to hear! I’ve been thankful others have posted videos that have led me to decisions, so I thought I’d do the same. More videos starting next week...
Cos127 everything fit for me, just took two of us when it came to moving some of the wires. There are some other comments on here that suggest what you’ve said, it may help to read through some of them. Good luck man
Hey, Ryan! Thanks for the video. I know you published the video almost a year ago, so I'm not sure if you still have the Scout. But if you remember, please answer a couple questions: 1. On Corbin's seat configuration webpage the Bomber Jacket Brown looks a lot darker than it does on your video. Is the color on the seat lighter than is shown on the website, or is it just the lighting of the video that makes it look that way and the colors are pretty much the same darkness? 2. Did the Corbin seat change the overall seating position? Sit higher/lower? Sit forward/back more? Thanks!
MJE hey, thanks, I’m not sure what’s on the website but the color is fairly accurate in the video and it’s in a few different lighting situations. Seating position is similar to stock. Hope this helps.
Brandon Bicasso hey Brandon! I’m hoping there’s a good weather window this weekend, I’m dying to get out there. I will post a quick follow-up video and comments here as soon as things clear up
Did the bracket fit perfectly? Because right now as im typing, I am having the worst time ever! So hard to try and bolt on the 2 screws! Any advice? Please and thank you
Kevin DLS yes, unfortunately gotta get a second person to help, only way I was able to keep the wires out of the way while I bolted on. Someone else in the comments mentioned the same trouble, it’s definitely a pain
Kevin DLS haha nice! Glad to hear that. I’m assuming you finally gave in and got violent with it like I did, only way to make it happen. Enjoy the seat, you’ll soon see it’s a game changer...
thanks , I thought it might have been a different seat not on there site yet, I have the same problem as you Im 6 foot, and get a numb butt after about 45min,, look forward to more reviews
Wondering if you can give me a hand... got my saddle today for my bobber.... put on the bracket and can’t get the hole on the seat to align with the peg on the bracket.... it’s like the peg on the bracket needs to go back or the hole on the seat needs to be farther back... there are two holes on the bracket where it gets bolted to the terminal... only one (the one closest to the back in relation to the bike) seems to be the one you’d want to use... also assuming the metal tongue on the front of the seat goes the same place as the stock tongue... I’m more than frustrated at this point... they had one of the rivets sticking out too far and I scratched up the rear fender... any insight is appreciated. If you could send me a close up picture of the bracket and point to where the front tongue goes I would appreciate it... haven’t heard back from Corbin yet.
William Shiers start by trying the other hole on the bracket. I had to get a neighbor to help move the wires out of the way. Getting some extra hands will go a long way. I would take a picture but I recently bought a Road King Special
Thanks Ryan.... Tried the other hold on the bracket and then the one with the spacer wouldn't align to the fender. It appears either the tongue that's supposed to go under in the front is mounted too far forward on the seat or the receiving bracket on the seat is mounted too far forward to catch the pin (eyeballing it - probably about 3/8 of an inch or 1/2 inch). I'll call Corbin tomorrow to see if I'm missing something obvious but, at this point - I think they screwed up the hardware on the seat. I've had three seats by Corbin (one for a yahama warrior- which was fine ; another for a vtx - which had to be sent back upon arrival as the leather was torn when I got it and; now this one which looks like it will be going back too). Additionally... I think they didn't rivet the leather to the pan properly (which is what caused my fender to scratch trying to put it on. Not impressed. Anyway, thanks for the help!
Finally got it... but not before realizing that polaris had over torqued the neutral nut. So, had to get the dealer to fix that. The problem turned out being the metal tongue on the front of the seat was too shallow. Once I bent it further away from the seat it went on without issue. Of course, Corbin pointed that out and then stated it's on their website (but not printed in the instructions they send). Frustrating... Anyway... got it on.... only had time for a short ride but, immediately noticed a huge difference (for the better).
William Shiers sucks you had to deal with that but glad it’s resolved. for what it’s worth, this is also great info that will help others. Ride safe and enjoy the new seat!
Cosmo Wolverine 68 congrats Brian, I’ll see what I can do. I wash the bike down with a water hose, dry it with a leaf blower, then I apply Wizard matte paint cleaner with a microfiber cloth www.amazon.com/dp/B007GR4XDK?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Actually I am from over seas so I can't do that I send them an email but I didn't get any answer. If somebody can help with the color code I will be thankful
Crazy AD I recommend calling them or waiting for an email reply, I think they also have a description of the colors on the website, I don’t want to tell you the wrong color. I also don’t think any of the colors are going to match exactly. Good luck!
Haha just listened to your reinharts sound sexy as hell! also I may be ordering a Corbin seat soon more pricey than mustang but I like the customization! thanks for the videos! Subbed!
Gabriel De Santis yep, 20/20 hindsight on that and I would have asked them to use all black thread on the logo or remove it altogether. Functionally and quality is worth checking out though
Kolour Blind it’s never going to be a bagger, it’s never going to work for touring, but I used to be able to handle 60-90 minutes. After the Corbin, been out on 5-6 hour runs through the mountains many times
@@karchman3197 I really hope that's true. My stock seat makes things go numb after about 20 minutes, and it's EXTREMELY painful. I usually won't be riding for more than an hour or two without a good break, so your comment is very reassuring. I can't wait to get it installed and for all the snow to melt!
How did you get that stitch pattern? The Corbin design studio only shows that ugly diamond waffle pattern and there's no option for light gray stitching. :(
Gerhard Symons thanks for the feedback, that’s the plan, but I was cut short by an oncoming snow storm believe it or not! Another quick video update to follow as soon as the weather clears...
bcoverss I’ve moved on to bigger bikes. The seat was fantastic for what it was, and I also added rear shocks later, but it’s not a touring bike and you won’t get touring quality comfort. You will get prolonged rides for sure, and longer distances will be more tolerable, but it’s just not that kind of bike...

Same. I been through a few seats & wasted money but ended up pulling the trigger on the Corbin. Now i wait.
Thank you for the review I just ordered one and I'm glad you did a side by side.
Ryan!!! I've been waiting for this review! Looks Great! 1 more week delivery for my ride. I'm dieing here....
Joe Davis haha glad to hear, Joe, that’s awesome news. I hope it works well for you! Ride safely, brother!
Best upgrade I did to my Softail Standard!!! Can stress it enough, it will BLOW your mind!!! ❤
Beautiful bike, what is the stitching style? Corbin only has option for diamond or tuck n roll stitching which is horizontal. Not vertical like your. would appreciate your input
Amandeep Singh stealth stitching pattern
Ryan Karchner thanks Ryan
Looks awesome for sure. Can’t wait to hear how you like it on longer trips. -Dave
Men's Territory coming soon, Dave! I will update the thread, I’m hopeful it’s better, too...
Looks great thanks for the video. I asked about the stock bobber seat and the dealer said it needs time to break in but it is definitely uncomfortable. Do they make matching passenger seats?

"Time to break in" 😂....I've never experienced such an uncomfortable seat...shame Indian aren't listening to their customers.
The stitching on the seat is different on the website...i like the stitching on ur alot better is that how it came or did you order it that way?
Brad Smith Hi Brad, it came that way and I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely worth giving them a call to confirm
Ryan Karchner thx bud
Sick seat!!! Great choice!!! I love your mirrors too.....who makes those???
Thanks
Fred Zuccarelli thanks, those were stock mirrors
Lovely bike, but what's that flap thing on the back of the new seat? Looks kind of annoyingly useless. The brown seat contrasts nicely with the black of the bike though!
Joo-foh for mounting a backrest
Looks great and you sound very happy with it. Mine is on order, so I am looking forward to getting it and putting it on the bike.
Photo Biker enjoy, it really is well made

Got the seat installed today. Thanks for the advice. A great improvement over the stock seat.

I think they called it “stealth”

on the web site it shows a different type of stitch pattern , how did you get that pattern ?
kiwozif1 I actually didn’t even notice until this comment. If it helps, on my receipt/order it is named the “stealth stitching pattern”
thanks , I thought it might have been a different seat not on there site yet, I have the same problem as you Im 6 foot, and get a numb butt after about 45min,, look forward to more reviews
kiwozif1 yep, same scenario. unfortunately we had snow last night, but I hope to get out soon and will post an update
Ya I’m going over the order form and don’t see a choice for stitching pattern I wonder if you just get what they feel like doing?
Corbin offers dozens of stitch color options ect basically you custom order colors and stitches as you want ..
Wish they had it in same color as the original one to match passenger seat
Corbin has a saddle seat, all in one, to replace your solo+passenger seat. It's the same price as a solo - just FYI

What color is your stitching on the seat itself?
Okie Flyfisherman light silver
Are the sides of your seat the Asphalt vinyl or is that black leather?
Christopher Beaman sides are black natural leather
Can u do a video on washing the
Matte finish.. I bough the exact same bike 🇨🇦 thanks Brian 🏍

Beauty! I’m currently waiting for my Corbin brave seat for scout sixty! Stock seats are garbage lol
angelsweetie84 you got that right...for me, really the only thing they got wrong with the bike...
Ryan Karchner the exhaust is also garbage, on my scout. Not sure if the bobber one is different.
angelsweetie84 yep, true :) can’t go wrong with the Rineharts! th-cam.com/video/8xyowgmawUg/w-d-xo.html
I personally went with kuryakin maverick crusher slip ons.
Haha just listened to your reinharts sound sexy as hell! also I may be ordering a Corbin seat soon more pricey than mustang but I like the customization! thanks for the videos! Subbed!
That hugeass logo ruins it completely would be amazing without it.
Gabriel De Santis yep, 20/20 hindsight on that and I would have asked them to use all black thread on the logo or remove it altogether. Functionally and quality is worth checking out though
Completely agree...logo is a big spoiler.
It's still quite a train tracker seat, I would appreciate a bit narrower seat.
Have you gotten much seat time yet? How long before numb butt sets in?
Kolour Blind it’s never going to be a bagger, it’s never going to work for touring, but I used to be able to handle 60-90 minutes. After the Corbin, been out on 5-6 hour runs through the mountains many times

Awesome and thanks for the fast reply!
swich2mac please, anytime, ride safe, hope this helps, I’ve used other videos to help out, so I’m glad to give back
It's called Stealth stitching they said just write it in the comments and they'll know what to do.
Juan Molina nice, great info
That's a bad ass bike man. You put some Harley riders to shame. Seat looks good.
Christ that looks good.
Looks awesome :)
Henrik Larsson thanks Henrik!
This seat looks awesome. I need to order one I am bigger guy weight wise and the stock seat is trash.
Frank Marin agreed, unfortunately it’s snowing outside now, but I hope to get in a longer ride soon...
Price for the seat ?
Cosmo Wolverine 68 roughly $500, I didn’t choose the option for heated seat
wonderful motorcycle!
Nice, get the Miller slipon. They look the same as original but sound better (I think)
Goratchthemule nice, I bet they sound great
U could catch a baseball with that seat holy cow
Steven Barosy softball :)
Nice video!
casey roskwitalski thanks!
How much was this seat?
akcream $500

The seat looks good... only thing I don't like in corbin is the logo in their products
Daniel Cortez I hear you on that one, Daniel. Ride safe, brother!
Great looking seat! You can also match the logo to your sides so you don't see it as much. Thank you for the video Ryan! I'm sold.
My butt is smiling
Pat Downs haha
Big ass jajaja
thing is ugly. you should have got some road couch bike if its uncomfortable. you can always "pull" the stitched logo out. will have dots left
