We tried to give you additional information about so you can better understand what did driver do wrong.

I edit the raw footage (I need a couple of days for every video I make),I add the location of the incident, I add arrows that follow cars to make the situation easier to be seen. I zoom in and out so everyone can see the action and many other things.

My very good friend, Danny O'Connel, was driving home with our friend, who was a champion high school wrestler and awaiting to hear about athletic scholarships, was side-swiped by a drunk driver who crossed the center divider. Danny crashed his bike into a tree as this gentlemen did, however, the impact split Danny's helmet in half and killed him instantly. Our friend had both feet crushed, requiring numerous surgeries for him to walk, again.
I grew up in a car and motorcycle racing family. I hate street bikes. 💔 They're gorgeous, sound amazing, but between idiot riders, or idiot drivers, it's simply unsafe on the streets.

5:15 He didnt "suddenly decide to stop". That's a designated crosswalk and the flashing yellow lights grant pedestrians right of way. They were flashing well before you got to them and honestly he didn't appear to brake that hard.
the guy was there for days, the dash camera driver was clearly distracted because you would have seen the lights then the break lights and slowed down the driver almost goes into other driver and then proceed to be entitled

8:26 Papa Arkem, whilst not in the wrong, wasn't paying enough attention and/or doesnt know how to brake.
8:54 SMH, whilst also not in the wrong and had very good reactions, obviously didnt leave enough room to the car in front, something bike riders complain about when it happens to them a LOT.
9:22 fishbert42 decided to roleplay as a police officer and purposely cut someone off doing an illegal overtake, by committing an illegal move themselves.
10:25 mtnTigger, in their 2nd accident, decides to tailgate a car with its brake lights on in an effort to stop someone else merging, just because.
11:17 Quaid Price, whilst observing someone doing an illegal move slightly in front of them, decides to pit them to prevent further problems, I guess?
America sure does have a mental health problem, so many people are so aggressive and just plain stupid and/or assholes.

I think they can agree both were in the wrong for running the light, however the car trying to merge into the left lane would also be cited for not using a signal and, correct me of I’m wrong here on the wording, unsafe lane change or improper lane usage

That's but I saw too and I came looking to see if anybody else saw it. Looks like they're going too fast for that area and the light changed and they thought they were both going to run it.
Road rage isn't justified, even if it's done by the guy with the camera!
@@alicetheneko7529 I believe they were swerving to avoid the car turning right, they weren’t trying to merge into the left lane, the car turning right probably assumed they would stop since they saw that the light was about to turn red lol.

Exactly. His/her excuse about “braking safely” to try and avoid “sliding or hurting” their children in the car is the craziest thing I’ve ever heard. A hard brake won’t hurt your kids, but a collision sure will. Tons of room on the shoulder to swerve as well. I don’t know why people think a car can’t handle a little grass.
A lot of people in this comp didn’t seem to even want to try to avoid an “accident.” They just willingly drive into them now, apparently
Trying to avoid a car accident can cause a more difficult situation for you. Say you swerve to avoid a car the will hit you, but you hit a curb or someone else hits you damaging your car and someone else's. Your insurance can deem you at fault for the damages. This happened to my dad in his jeep. He hopped a curb to avoid someone that pulled out in front of him. He bent the front axle of his jeep and insurance would cover it but he would be labeled at fault and his rates would go up. Now he is stuck paying out of pocket. from the comp the best example of what happened to my dad it the part with the blue mustang coming over on the truck (7:56) except my dad didn't run a red light like in the clip lol.
Getting into a car accident is big business. Have you seen those ads in TH-cam that shows they payout for insurance claims?
@@travisbair9375 Most of these accidents in this comp could be easily avoided without putting yourself in further trouble if people just put their foot on the brakes and not steered/accelerated into others.

Insurance companies are partly to blame for that. If you swerve to avoid a car, and as a result of your swerving, you cause a relatively minor accident, avoiding a worse collision, you will be blamed. Whereas, if you just allow the initial collision to occur (but not breaking any laws), you'll be better off, insurance-wise (and for criminal charges too).

2:24 most respect i've seen somebody have towards cyclists in america. I'm from the netherlands and i cycle almost every day so it's nice to see someone keep a distance to let the cyclist feel safe. the person overtaking and waiting on purpose is just so childish.
I don’t think that was the reason though. If you look at the bottom left corner you can see the speed km/h. After the cyclists were gone he was accelerating veeery slow. Then when the other car went to overtake you can see he is accelerating faster and also going too fast to try and prevent the other person from overtaking.
At least that’s what it seems like to me
To The1Viper: @4:20 You can't reasonably expect that it's a drivers responsibility to let you in, 'merging zipper style' in that situation. It wasn't like two equal lanes were merging into one, or similar. It was you pulling out of the parking lot, into the main stretch of road, that is exiting the parking lot. You can wait patiently, and hope, as most decent folks would do, after a few cars pass, for one to let you out. You don't just assume your god, or vehicle-owning-given-rights, and force your way in. Some situations on the road are unofficial, and for decent people to politely figure out on their own. Yes, the Karen, responded to you, whereas many would have let your pushiness go with a shrug. It takes two to dance the moron tango. You're the reason why we need laws, written into books, because some people just wont do the right thing on their own, without being forced and legislated to do so. It's okay to be wrong about something, but all too many put force behind their wrong and spew it out into the world offensively. Instead, just be constantly second guessing and unsure of yourself, like many people who are consistently in 'the right'!

You keep your ass there until you can make visual contact with the other driver. They will usually wave you on, or sit there, non-moving for a considerable length of time. You WAIT until someone lets you in. Trying to use the Zipper Merge excuse here? Umm, No. That is for highways, not fricking parking lots.
Exactly. Keeping in mind that the cammer came from literally the other direction... He wasn't just making a simple right turn, it was more like a u turn, and he was making it very wide, and when he got up to 'Karen' he was not nosing in front of her, but coming exactly perpendicular to her. I don't know how stupid you have to be to see those angles and think that you have the right of way. I'm glad she stood her ground and chewed your ass out.

4:00 -- I was always taught that rule one was "always expect the other driver to do the stupidest thing imaginable." but that's a good one, too.
i always say drive like every other driver is out to get ya! so you watch them all front back and sides of you and be ready for anything. also a green light does not mean it is clear to go, but that it is your turn to go so when it turns green you take the time to look and make sure everyone who is supposed to stop is stopping those few seconds might save your life and the lives of others and it shouldn't make you late anywhere. if you leave on time! ( too wordy i know).
@@supposedly1-2 yup! Truth. I don't trust anyone on the road cause I've been the passenger in two accidents where my driver ran a stop sign. And there are times I also screw up and miss something.
2 weeks ago I watched out of the corner of my eye as a tractor trailer doesn't slow down for the stop sign at the end of his road. I had the right of way but I watched him the whole time. He blew right through the sign and didn't even try to break. I, thankfully, slowed down so that he wouldn't have hit me and probably killed me.
I have anxiety any time I am coming up to an intersection and i have a green light. I slow down anyway, even tho, by law, since it's green for me, I can just keep driving at my speed. But nope! I don't trust other people!! I gotta look around at the other lanes to make sure everyone is stopped.

@R ight My guess is she wasn't parked there, she went in there to turn herself around. That is the only way it makes sense that she would go forward instead of backwards. Notice she drives until she hits the curve, she probably thought she had enough space to make the turn. And it's why she then turns the wheel the other way and backs up only a little bit. Again thinking she was close to making the turn so she didn't have to back up that much. Either way that person has no awareness of the limits of her car or how to manipulate it effectively with the steering wheel.

I imagine that in the first clip, the driver had an unreported accident and smashed the back of their car. Now, they're trying to prompt a rear end accident to blame the damage on someone else so they can make their claim.
This is a much better idea, I always thought they drive around damaged cars to make it look like they were hit without actually being hit, while also being able to repeatedly do the same stunt.

It's a lowered car... obviously too low for the conditions, but no one is going to spend time wrenching on their car to lower it for an insurance claim. Smash it, sure, but change parts like this for a low, static ride, no.

RED means STOP and the guys who ran the red light caused the accident by not following the law. It's not like this was a stop sign intersection where right of way is less clear cut, red and green lights are as clear cut as it gets. Fuck that cammer and the mustang for running the red. That type of shit is what causes t-bones and kills people. And I see it's in VA Beach, I live around there, and that explains it all. Red light runners for days there.
The light was yellow and turned red while they were in the intersection. The silver suv turned when it was not clear. The mustang should have rear ended that suv instead of swerving into another car. The suv would have been at fault in that situation, but instead now the mustang is at fault for swerving into another car.

Agreed. the OC could have easily caused a car accident by not just letting the guy in. It's not your job to teach any lessons, and it sure isn't worth the possible consequences, especially to other people. I did crap like this when I was younger, 16 years old. I'm a lot more mature now (48 yrs). It's not worth it. It's not worth the possible car accidents and injury to you, that driver, and other people, and it isn't worth the possible tickets and charges that you could get. This driver (with the dashcam) could have easily been charged with dangerous driving (actually, the charge that exists when you don't actually hurt anyone, erratic driving?). Believe me, the charges and future hikes in insurance rates won't be worth it.

The SUV directly caused this accident, it's hilarious people are trying to defend someone who went directly in front of a moving car. Like imagine saying it's not X persons fault they shot someone dead because the person shouldn't have walked in front of their gun. Maybe, I know this might be mind blowing to some of you, apparently, but maybe you should look before doing things, especially when said thing is MERGING INTO TRAFFIC. What if people were turning left?
Right of way doesn't mean you get to just not look and blame everyone else for fucks sake. Especially as so many people will run the red *just* as it turns or similar, you need to actually use your eyes and look. SUV is as responsible for the crash as the Mustang and cammer are.

Glad I came across this video. I’ve been wondering why I’ve been getting break checked a lot. I’m definitely installing a dash cam and encouraging my kids that are on their early twenties to get one as well.
Honestly, I was wondering the same thing. Never thought insurance scam, just thought they were d--ks, but man it's becoming a big problem where I live. That and red light running. Be safe out there!

Shoot between the insurance scams, ppl pulling out with its unsafe, the reckless driving while speeding, and red light runners in my town I’m getting one too, and mainly bc my first and only wreck the teen that rear ended me in the rain bc he was texting and driving tried to say I was at fault bc he didn’t expect me to suddenly stop when I was stopped for a solid minute bc a car was turning in left in front of me about 2 minutes down the road from my house. Thankfully the trooper that came knew my family and knew how my mom was about her car and knew I would never do anything to wreck it and plus his parents pulled up screaming at him bc they knew he was at fault and took his phone to prove he did text and drive

@50:04 Had something similar happen when I was a kid. We had a Ford Aerostar minivan with a manual transmission. Went to my aunt's house to watch a football game and my parents pulled into their driveway, put it in first, and parked, just like they had done dozens of times before. It was almost completely flat, so never even thought about using the parking brake. 3+ hours later, the neighbor across the street knocks on the screen door and asks if my aunt knows who's van is parked in their driveway. Go out and there's the van sitting in her driveway, just like someone parked it there (still in first gear). Luckily it's basically completely flat (with apparently only the slightest slope) and very little traffic on their road, because it slowly rolled backwards out of the driveway, across the road, and into their driveway (with 10 feet of their car) without anyone even noticing. Neighbor didn't even notice until she went to leave and saw this random vehicle parked there. Luckily it just became a funny story with no injuries or damages.

@@ann1halat3d the car who did the first mistake is at fault for everything … thats how my dad lost his drivers license … he ran a stop sign with a car and a speeding car with 80kph ind a 30kph zone hit his front , who was 100% at fault yes my dad and he would be able to see the stop signs bc on his side it was behind a truck and on the other side was a tree , then should be right before left , the speeding car came from left and didnt got a ticket for speeding
To the person at 5:20 if you feel like you are going to hit the person in front of you, you’re supposed to go to the right and not into opposing traffic. Also you should have just slowed down faster so you wouldn’t of had to do that.

@@p1kkumadid you not take Driver Education when you were 15? One of the most important rules they teach you is that if you’re going to crash, aim for a curb/tree/sign instead of another human being. You NEVER swerve into oncoming traffic!

Its a problem all over the U.S. Even cities that have the bike lane, the cyclist will still drive in the middle of it impeding others and creating traffic. Then claim they didn't do anything wrong.

Heard this one quite a few times and it's good advice. Don't tell anyone about your dash cam until the police get involved. It's great when the police can personally catch them in a lie.

Apparently BMW guy went up to Mercedes guy (they had an incident we didn’t see. Mercedes threw something at the BMW). Mercedes did run over the guy and fled. The guy was found by police over the guardrail with major injuries to his leg. State troopers asked the public to help find the Mercedes driver. ( the license plate is clear and visible, so maybe it was stole .?!)

I'm glad they stopped for the kitten. I would have too (I actually have stopped, and even blocked the road, to allow a family of ducks to safely cross the road. But I put my hazards on, stayed standing when I got out in the way of traffic, and waved my arms like a crazy person, so that I was able to stop traffic in both directions). The ducks saw that there was no more traffic in the road, and thought it was safe to go. Unfortunately the red light that allowed the road to be free had just changed to a green, and cars were coming). But the idea of those guys getting run over before my eyes , was unfathomable (I'm probably spelling that wrong).
I appreciate their hearts (mine's the same), but they both should have had hazard lights on, and the woman shouldn't have had her door wide open in the way of traffic, and she definitely should not have laid down in the way where traffic could easily hit her. It's like she thought, I'm a person, no one will hit me. People get hit all the time, and they're not even lying down on the road. 😯🤯
So, have a heart ❤, but use your brain 🧠. Be as safe as you can while saving the animal. Hell, she forgot to put her car in park before she got out, almost squishing the little kitten she meant to save!
Actually, in my case, there were two separate times I stopped traffic to save birds. One was the family of ducks, and another time was to save an individual Canadian Geese who was crossing the road, and then walking around in a mall parking lot in the middle of the day. The 2nd time I was walking. It was a little scary, on my part, stopping traffic without a car there but all went okay, and I ended up keeping the little guy safe for a couple of hours where he was just walking around in the parking lot. People actually stopped (and even took pictures, lol), asking if the bird was my pet, because he started following me around (instead of me following him, for safety), after I helped him cross the road safely. Eventually, he flew off, and I felt it was safe enough (for the Cdn Goose), so I could finally go home. A little kindness goes a long way, but don't forget to be as safe as possible.
I’d never rescued a cat before :) maybe don’t criticize with the “shoulda woulda couldas”. He’s safe now and the perfect pet :)
I agree it's awesome they saved the kitten but you guys have to realize how insanely dangerous it is to lie down on the highway and stop your cars in the middle of two lanes. I'd never get out of my car in the middle of the highway.

2:20 it happens to a lot of cars with automatic emergency braking. I entered a turning lane in my 2017 Corolla the other day; cluster went "BRAKE!!!" and it locked all the tires up just because the sun was in front of me and there was a red light in the other lanes.. I guess it detected it as brake lights? Thing even detects mailbox reflectors and driveway lights as cars.
Nice to see for a change, near the end it shows a list of violations that the driver behind had against him for rear ending the following vehicle. That makes these types of videos well worth watching, and there should be more of.
@5:29 @T Genesis. Yup, you're wrong. The flashing lights are there to let you know that a safe crossing will/needs to occur. You should be aware of it and should be ready to stop accordingly, regardless of the vehicle in front of you.

The sign that reads you must yield to pedestrians doesn't mean you must yield to people *waiting* to cross. Pedestrians still have a duty to obey jaywalking laws and have to excercise due regard when crossing.
The only exceptions are pedestrians that are blind and pedestrians with certain disabilities. Yielding to pedestrians does not mean come to a stop whenever you see someone standing on a sidewalk attempting to cross the street.

PSA: Please set the date/time on your dashcams...if the wrong data is on it a sneaky defense attorney could get the video suppressed because it is not correct.

I have seen it happen...the defendant's lawyer got the video kicked (suppressed the evidence) due to the time/date stamp being wrong. It can happen so I put it in the PSAs.

Did he think they had two separate accidents on two different occasions and they brought footage from the other wreck? That's the only way it would make sense for them to have footage of an accident with the defendant but it not be of that specific accident.

It could have been a hybrid lane. Sometimes the lane right next to a right turn only can be a right, straight, or left all at once- designed to go into the adjacent lane. There are a few of those nearby where I live.

In his description, he says flat out that he was chilling in the left lane, moved right to pass a bunch of folks exiting left, and then moved back in to his position in the left lane. To just sit and camp there like the a-hole he is, like the other driver complains about. He also wrote that he was going 70 in a 55, but when talking to the other driver, he said he was going 70 in a 60. And then he says, "How much faster do you want me to go?" That's exactly the problem with the people who camp in the left lane - they think they're going the fastest anyone should want to go, so the lane is theirs. Just move tf over and let him pass, there was SO much room and time.
HOWEVER, that other driver just needed to get over it and move on with his day. His violent and dangerous actions were inexcusable.

We usually do 4 cars at the top, and 1 horizontal at the bottom. Anyway, one day my brother is backing out of the driveway and scrapes the whole entire side of my car (rear bumper, both doors, front bumper, and headlight) of my car (Audi S4, I had just gotten it 3-4 weeks prior) and comes in saying "why tf is ur car still parked there, it's 1pm, go put on the street like what the fuck, I just fucked the whole side of it up cause you left it in the driveway". Long story short my dad stepped in right quick and now the whole side of my car has a fresh paint job and my brother is ~$4,000 less wealthy lol.

My 2 project cars (1 drift car, 1 track car) get parked on the other side of the house, the rest goes in the driveway. We use parking passes when needed but they're not valid during snowfall.

I watch these videos and coupled with what I see on the road every day, I am convinced that we are devolving as a society. Too many (not all) have a complete disrespect for traffic laws and other drivers. I support having 10 times the amount of traffic enforcement to bring us back down to normal. A simple sorry, some patience, and kindness goes along way. I forgive sorry, but one thing I can't stand is when someone cuts me off and then flips me off.
I would say I have to agree with you but I personally believe that it’s disrespectful to drive so leisurely. If you going 10+ under the speed limit or cause a huge traffic jam because your a slow drive that’s just as disrespectful. If you not doing the speed limit than don’t get upset when people pass you all pissed off. My daily commute to work should only take me 5 minutes but on average it takes 10-15 because everyone on that road goes 10-20 under the speed limit for god knows what reason.

People are very distracted and nearly every time I pass a slow driver (outside of the occasional elderly person), the driver's phone is inevitably in their lap and they are looking down, with no care for the jam-up they are creating behind them. It also drives me nuts when trucks travel 3 lanes across and create a major slow-down because they just can speed up fast enough.

It looked to me like you either were not paying attention or had no intention of regarding that crosswalk light. If that Buick had not been there before you, it's a high percentage of a chance you would have seriously injured or killed the pedestrian.
When a crosswalk light is flashing, the pedestrian ALWAYS has right-of-way.
