you can tell that after the first bite he was fishing for something positive to say about it, but when he couldn't come up with anything he brings out the neutral "what type of pizzza is this?"
Kyle Hunt that’s the exact number I was think... I thought he was gonna say that but I knew he’d put it in the 7’s for Frankie & cause he sounded afraid of facing the old man in there. Thought he’d go low 7s to be nice though
I’ve watched so many of these now that I can almost guess the exact score he’s going to give a pizza based on his expression. He honestly had the reaction of like a 6.7 pizza. 6.9 tops. That was no 7.9 reaction. He absolutely was doing them a solid by scoring the pizza like that.
6.6 is not a bad score. The pictures that the customers took on the one bite app don't look too bad. It's solid enough to have an average in the 7's. Nothing wrong with a simple piece of pie sometimes.
Hey Frankie.... I was born and raised in Levittown. Always went to Dominicos, Sammys Inferno, Carusos and Borellis. I loved my local pizzas. You guys rock. Keep the vids coming!!!
Sadly, all the great Levittown and Hicksville joints are long gone now. I grew up there, and knew all of them. Borellis was great in the 70s and 80s, after that, forget it, and Domenicos is not even good anymore. It's pretty sad.
We all have our own tastes when we review pizzas. Borelli’s is okay, but I do believe that score was a little high. Based on some of the other reviews, it probably should have been around 7.2 or 7.3. I have much more of a Sicilian taste, and Borelli’s is typical Italian restaurant pizza instead of pizzeria pizza.
This is why you let the regular cook do the cooking!! Papa made it a low 7 AT BEST but I think the regular pizza guy could’ve gotten it to maybe 7.3 or 7.4
Ive been to borrellis many times before islanders game or even watched games there or if im in area ill get a pizza. Great place. Better people. Great environment.
We used to go constantly to Borrellis from the early 70s-later 80s. Dates, family dinners, whatever. Pre or post-Islanders and concerts. It was always 5 stars great food. Now...not so much. That doesn't even remotely look like the pizza they used to make back then, use fantastic pies that rivaled most local LI joints. What happened?
Scott- agree. It used to be my favorite pizza back in the day but it definitely changed. Last time I got in some years ago I thought the sauce was so bland. And they used to put a lot of oregano on it but I don't know if they still do. There crust used to be amazing.
@@valinny8571 I heard at least 15 years ago that Borrelli's had gone way downhill, just from the Yelp reviews alone. I was there maybe seven years ago with some visiting family that recalled it from the 70s, and it was ok but not anything near what it once was. Very forgettable and the service was not great. I remember going there in the 70s as a kid with my family and there was a bar in front with a pinball or pachinko game you could play, waiting for a table, and it was often a long wait then, too.
Just won a 16/1 race 🐎 $50k in the suit Great mood Reaching for something positive to say about that pizza That’s not even close to the 7’s Real fans know 💯
There is another pizza shop he should try and rate on long island. Teddy's Bar and Pizzeria. Its in Elmont, NY on Meacham Ave. A few miles down the road from King Umberto. Some of the best pizza I ever had there.
FYI, they will be serving at the biggest cricket match ever played in America - India Vs Pakistan, scheduled at the temp cricket ground in Nassau county. Early June.
you can tell he new it was a 6.9 but gave 1 extra point for fam nothing wrong with that its avg pizza we all know it
Dead ass. 1 look I knew it was in the 6s
The smirk on his face when he opens the box and takes that first look 🤣🤣
said it all right there. i
He threw Frankie a bone with the 7.9. Borellis is a 6.2 tops of a good day, I live about 5 mins away from it.
Facts
Yeah it really doesn’t look that good lol
Honestly, that pizza looked like a 5.4. He had to do it for frankie.. he had no choice.
you can tell that after the first bite he was fishing for something positive to say about it, but when he couldn't come up with anything he brings out the neutral "what type of pizzza is this?"
You could tell by the lack of enthusiasm that it wasn't a true 7.9, but I got respect for helping out family, I'd go to war for mine.
The minute he bit into it, you can see him smirking.
Like... "There is no way I can give this an honest score."
what smirk lol? mark the second of his reaction bc he took 2 bites and then started talking with no smirk lol
One chuck-e-cheese pizza, everyone knows the score is inflated.
thats exactly what it looked like
The look in his eyes says 6.8...
Honestly closer to 6.2 but i feel you.

I was thinking 6.3 by the look for sure
so does the tone of his voice
More like 5,6
Looks like roller rink pizza, ski lodge cafeteria pizza. yuck
That pizza costs $18 according to their website. That’s insane. Looks like it was made in an easy bake oven
bro im dead "easy bake oven" hahah damn that's good
What’s crazy is here we are in 2022 and you would happily pay 18 dollars for a 14” cheese. Inflation is a mofo
Welcome to Long Island
I’m from Long Island. This place is well known as garbage.
Looks like Red Baron pizza
Red Baron is the best damn frozen pizza, not a bad thing!
The red Baron brick oven crust for $3.33 is about the beat frozen pizza in the game.
Tombstone better

YES! Left out in the sun for a few hours

I have been to Borrellis twice. 6.6. Good sauce, decent dough. No flop and cheese was SUSS

If it ain’t Grande mozzarella, I don’t want it
I’ve eaten Borelli’s pizza through the years. Its an honest 6.1 pizza. 7.9 is laughable

DiMaggios!
Borellis is like a 5.5 Be honest
Good call, under tremendous pressure he bumped up the score 2 points.
this place is a dumpster fire
Looks bad
I've seen DiGiorno's that looked more authentic than that. 7.9 but he had nothing nice to say about it? Give me a break.
Its not a football pizza, id call it more of a movie pizza or a hanging out pizza
@robertjames12 nice
Office break pizza
hang myself pizza

At least for Long Island that’s not Italian restaurant pizza. More like pizza you would get at a bowling alley or ski resort
this was hard to watch
That’s a Tuesday night at the bowling alley pizza
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
On a gambling high from winning and even a steaming pile of donkey dung tastes like a 7.1, everyone knows the rules
