What is the scientific evidence that explains how all the genetic diversity we have today came about through a process of natural selection over time. The only evidence he can resort to is that bacteria, due mutations, can adapt to their environment such as becoming resistant to some drugs or that moth populations can change their color over time. That is extremely weak evidence to support the original production of the genetic complexity contained in organisms today.
Not only that mutations simply duplicate already exciting information it doesn't add new information moths changing colors are because grey/brown has all the information for other colors

The sun's existence is not enough to dismiss what Cliffe is presenting. It is an empirically equivalent answer, that would not dismiss design. It is an explanation of process, not is the process directed. The philosophical design argument & the scientific explanation of abiogenesis, are not competing to answer this question. Which is true? Henry Ford made the Ford automobile, OR was it the physics of combustion that made the Ford automobiles possible? Both. That is the kind of choice your suggesting. It could very well be both, or just God.
