Great Video!! I LOVE Supernote!! So much so, I use 2 of them simultaneously!! Being able to create templates and upload them and then USE them has projected my opportunities at work with creating bids, contracts and keeping Customers Notes in one location. I %100 agree with how amazing the mindset and mentality of Supernote as a company is. The updates continue to impress and I AM an Avid Supporter of this device!! Thanks For the Video, very well done!
I keep coming back to this. Very helpful. I am so busy I still can’t get time to use it as much as I would like. Do you have any 1 cor. PDF or epub documents or commentaries? Thanks again
the roasting note is awesome! after watching serval videos, it might simply conclude Supernote is arguably the best note taking device by far! I'm going buy one haha
Thank you for the video! I actually just preordered the A6X2 and was going to use it for my church's prayer meetings as well. Could you share what template or how you use your supernote in that context? Thank you in advance! (:
Thank you for your coverage! I am planning to get one very soon, Quick question: Would you say that for academic reading and note taking - perhaps even creating lit reviews or summaries - this has been a good productivity tool? I really want to utilise this for my uni final year lit reviews and am wondering if it’s a good tool for that over using laptop alone.. Seems like the only 2 things remarkable 2 has over this is the live screen sharing function and the Google drive implementation, but it’s reassuring to know that the SN ratta team have these features ongoing as priority. Loved the mention of anti-planned obsolescence - reassuring to hear this first hand from a user experience viewpoint ! Thank you
Thank you! You’re right it’s great for academic reading and planning. I’ve greatly benefited from incorporating it into my workflow! Also for anyone wondering the ‘Digest’ function is a brilliant way to save references from documents and to reference the references used in the document. As you can leave notes and key take aways in a ‘digestible’ form! One of the best pieces of tech I own!
Hi, thanks for your great videos! I am an academic and thinking about buying the SN. I have a bunch of questions about editing Microsoft word documents that I was hoping you might be able to help with. No worries if not. I write long articles in Microsoft Word that have a lot of footnotes. I want to be able to read and proofread/annotate my work on the supernote. Will I be able to open the word documents in supernote and edit them? How will footnotes appear/will I be able to edit the footnotes as well as the main text body? In addition to English, I cite/quote texts in a lot of other languages, many of which aren’t supported by supernote. Specifically, I am concerned about how Hebrew text, which is written from right to left, will show up in the Word document format on supernote. Microsoft Word itself can get buggy when editing documents that mix Hebrew and English. So if I don’t need to edit the Hebrew text, I just want supernote not to mess it up, what will happen when I open such a document on supernote? (I also use and have the same question about Syriac and Greek, but the most important concern I have is about Hebrew). With regards to editing pre-existing Microsoft Word documents. Can I insert text using the V feature? Can I handwrite the text I am inserting? Thanks so much!!!
I’m not sure if he will answer your questions, but I recommend also checking out the TH-cam channel Pixel Leaves if you haven’t already. She gives pretty good in-depth guides for the Supernote, and she goes over some tips that you might be looking for. I’m learning from her for when I receive mine next week.
I just checked and Hebrew comes through fine. Footnotes, too. Personally, I wouldn't edit a document on the SN. I convert to PDF then markup as I would a normal PDF document. I use NotaBene as a word processor, however, rather than Word. So this is the first time I've tried to use their software for reading and editing Word documents, I'm actually quite surprised how snappy it works. And as I say, the Hebrew comes through fine.
Hello sir! I am not acquainted with Margaret Thrall, but I will have to read his commentary. I have the NICNT by Barnett and have yet to sink my teeth in, but am looking forward to it someday. I have a couple questions for you since you seem to be in a very similar vein as me. I’m split between Remarkable 2 and Supernote A6x2 (or possibly A5x… not certain yet lol). My use case would be super similar to yours. I have a huge Logos library that I want to export into EPUB or PDF format and use digests to take notes on commentaries on. I also want to take my next e-ink tablet with me to church to take sermon notes, but I want to take my bible with me, and right now with my iPad, it’s just too big to carry with my bible to church and when I’m home I want to have a distraction free notetaking device. The iPad is not that. Currently I’m studying the Penatuch. I’m generally reformed, reading guys like Phillip G Ryken and Victor P. Hamilton (Highly, Highly recommend Hamilton) and am teaching Sunday school classes. I generally type out my lessons and thats my only gripe with supernote. I know they have handwriting to text, but there are still limitations to that, and I’m not sure it really serves my purposes. I’m interested to hear what you have to say. I would love to use my next e-ink device while I’m teaching, for reading most of my commentaries and annotating them and for taking notes during church. Curious what your thoughts are on what route to take, also curious if you teach and if so, are you using your supernote while your teaching to refer to its outline. Thanks!
Wow, I wasn't expecting to see use cases so similar to what I'm planning when I get an SN! Bible translation, study notes, commentary, sermon prep, and prayer journaling are all things I have spread around in different notebooks and Google docs, and I've been daydreaming about consolidating them all into one place just the way you showed. And the coffee roasting template is brilliant. You could do the same with beer brewing or gardening or anything else you want to hone your skill through systematic notes. Are there good LXX and GNT PDFs?
hi Tait! Thanks for your kind comment. Yes, I have found good LXX and GNTs - NA28 and UBS, Ralphs LXX, too. You'll have to do some digging online to find them, though. Alternatively, you can create PDFs and epubs from Logos editions, among others.
@@CTilling Awesome, I'll take a look around. I saw that the ESV produced a PDF version that has 1/2 text and 1/2 blank for notes. I'd love similar for NA28, LXX, and Biblica Hebraica! But, for translation, I've been benefiting from writing out the original and translating on the line below, and will probably keep doing that on SN. I'd love to see more content showing how you use the PDFs you flipped through in this video for your study and translation work. Probably more niche than most people looking for SN content, but, hey, it's exactly my niche!
I really wanted to get it. However European distributor is charging 200$ more for this device compared to US price. I could not justify this extortion charge. Supernote please get your EU distribution in order!
Hey. I’m not affiliated to Ratta at all but you’ll pay more for a niche device in the U.K. because a) there are transportation costs from USA to U.K., b) there are high import taxes and duty to pay when it comes into the U.K., c) you’ve got a risk that you import them and no one buys them, so you need to make profit to cover that. If you import it yourself, it will cost more.
would one be able to read / take notes on this in relatively darker room? Basically, do we miss not having backlit LED on the screen in different light situations?
This is the one I got: www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B014SZAVBU?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details (TECHGEAR Pro Sleeve [10] Slim Neoprene Zipped Pocket Sleeve Pouch Case, Anti-Shock Bubble Interior fits iPad 10.9, iPad 10.2, iPad 9.7", iPad Pro 11, Pro 10.5, Air 4 10.9, Air 3 2, iPad 4 3 2 - BLUE)
Im thumbing through all the vids about these tablets and still stuck. Anywhere i can ask some general questions without having to buy in or register? Redfit seems to automatically fanboy whatever brand you seem to visit, so... meh.
It was a great video and summary, but wish you had fixed the focus. The constant focus change on the device screen changing the crispness of the text and drawings is unbearable. I felt dizzy due to my visual sensitivity.
Yes, it's no ipad or high end samsung galaxy tablet in terms of hardware and speed, but I found myself getting used to it very quickly. How important is speed to you? If it is then either ipad or latest Boox/Kindle Scribe may be worth looking at
I just purchased one of these supernote gadgets and am very disappointed with it. Not having a back light renders it totally useless with its pale lettering. I absolutely hate it and will be returning this item with a view to returning to using my iPad. The send up on many of the TH-cam reviews, is simply a misrepresentation of fact.
The lack of a front light (e-ink cannot physically use a back light) is also what keeps me from getting one. Such a shame. But to be fair, I've never seen a single YT video anywhere that claimed Supernote came with any type of lighting. You made a big assumption without checking the specs before you bought a thing. That's on you.
Say you’re a Trump voter without saying it. Silly comment. It’s e ink. It doesn’t have a light. DYOR. Books don’t have lights either. And iPads are useless for long form reading and blue light headaches - or reading outside in the sun. Mileage may vary. As with intelligence evidently.

The book pile template, where can I find it? please

Can you please link to the “FOR2COR” book stack template? Please? I can’t find it anywhere!!!

For that reason I ordered it directly from the US store, while it was still possible to get it delivered in EU. Unfortunately not possible anymore :(
