In the army 11B 2016- present from ft bliss to ft hood to ft Polk will say I love mine. Sand, rain, and cold it honestly has been an amazing tent. Would highly recommend to any one who hikes or stalk hunts
Nice review! I love this tent! Pound for pound its one of the best one man tents available imo. I see you have the newest version too with the "ghost bone" carbon pole set. Same one i have and its what is currently being used by our guys in the military! Ooorah!! This tent has a super fast pitch! Fairly lightweight. Breathable, waterproof or highly "water resistant" i should say. Lol...Nothing is 100% waterproof. But this tent has never leaked on me and i have had zero problems with condensation. Tip: I don't normally alter gear but i did cut the hammock straps and buckles off from mine. I personally never use them and they were getting covered with dirt and mud after rain storms. Pain in the butt to clean off and pack. Saved myself about 5oz of weight too by removing them. Just take your time and cut em' flush. Can't even tell they were ever there and they don't get in the way anymore. Not many one man tents offer 2 doors and two vestibules thats a plus. I bought the groundsheet for it and its great! Highly recommend. Saves on the life of the tent and it helps with cold ground convection. Win, win lol. Yeah it adds a little weight but, worth it imo. I managed to even fit it into the main tent bag too. Although i do normally carry the tent poles on the outside of my pack in the waterbottle pocket and tent body etc, inside the pack (The horizontal stacking system Lol)... Great tent!! Hike on!!
I totally agree with you . I have 1 of those in coyote brown and 1 in muticam, and I wouldn't trade them for 10 of the top rated tents on the market. I also have 2 of the ACU improved combat shelters, and I like them a lot as well. my coyote brown tent is 18 years old and still works like new. how many aftermarket tents can last half that long. Excellent high fidelity look at this amazing piece of military surplus tech. Thank you for the video. Just purchased myself a tan one for $160. I don't think there is a better value for the quality that this amazing tent provides. Can't wait to take it out into high elevation forest and run it through its paces! Much love from Colorado.
I need a rain fly because I don’t have that for my litefighter! I’m using 2 overlapping ponchos (military) lol where can I get an affordable one (used)?
@@PioneerSurvivalCompany Thanks I have & will continue to do that, eBay used without poles & rain fly (bought recently $35+$15s&h) Poles ($30~ebay) so I'll use my military ponchos as a tarp unti then...Thanks!
How about the 4 velcro snaps on the inner side in the corners of the rainfly which should be attached on the tent poles? Is it necessary to snap it on? Guidelines says so but i would like to know if I just use the ground sticks with tent guy outs, Is it enough to make the rainfly steady in case of windy weather? Thank you for response. Great set up by the way now I know how to set the rainfly without strugle :-)
Yes. The Velcro wraps around the poles. You can use them for extra stability and to keep everything more snug. I have never used them and the tent has performed excellent in the several storms I’ve been in. I would consider using them more in the hasty hooch configuration but I’ve never had any problems without them.
Good review sir 👍 - I'm looking for a tent - I was looking at the snugpak but I like the vestibule idea - appreciate the info - sub & respect from KY - GOD bless

Great review! I absolutely love the look and features...I'm going to get one for stealth camping.... thanks!...
It works great for stealth camping. It blends in very well in a non urban environment and is quick to setup and tear down.
Is the Ballistic Fiber Pole Set superior to the Aluminum one?
Nice review. I think it’s called OCP camo. Lightfighter is running a bundle sale now for this tent.
Great video! Just learned this before going out to the field. Thank you!
You forgot the 4 Velcro attachments under the fly that connect the fly to the tent poles about half way up , good video
Picked one up a few months ago.All I hear is rave reviews about this one man tent. Thanks for the video

Wheres the bit where you turn it into a 4 season tent?
What is the weight of this tent?
It depends on the configuration.

Do you sell that tent?
Unfortunately we don’t. It is a great piece of gear.
Look like an Sierra Design Meteor :p but solo, so... I need one ahah
Cosmitto is cheaper and bigger 🤷♂️
My middle poles won’t go into the holes.. they are too small for the poles.. is mine defective? The rings on the holes are yellow and not green
The shock on mine was too loose . I pulled the end off and re-tied the not holding it together. It works now.
