You left the bottom grate out of the twig stove. It’s my first time seeing your channel. Very cool to see an outdoors woman. You are what many a young man dreams of. Adventurous, confident, capable, physically fit, naturally attractive, articulate and intelligent in a non-indoctrinated manner. I checked out your other content and see some amazing accomplishments. I’ll be watching more after I finish this one. The twig stoves are designed to utilize that bottom grate. It helps hold them together and you can also move them more easily with a fire burning, though there’s seldom a reason to. You are quite a special young lady. Much respect to whomever raised you.
I live in the Smoky mountains in TN. Iwas wounded in iraq and moved back in the mountains. Im not as fast or strong as i used to be but. Giving up on modern life and living off grid and as close to nature as i could get saved my life, i love the mountains more than anything, good to know there are still good people out there. Keep on keeping on and I'll keep watching. Ron
Interesting. You make me realize that which shelter you should make depends on what’s abundant in the area versus making the one you like better. Thank you for that 🙏
Coolio. Anyone that plays outdoors should practice these fun outings in a "controlled" setting. And for crying out loud, whether ya drive in the woods or walk in the woods...carry some basic necessities with you! Here where I live, stones from the creek can steam and explode...so careful. If ya have the time, energy and forest litter available, consider making 2 shelters. Depends on situation, right. In a "survival" situation any and all basic comforts are great for morale and overall success. Hopelessness is a killer. Remember woodcraft is not just an "indian" thing. People have been surviving on all lands for many many years and just because we now live in a pseudo reality...take pride that, you are stronger than you realize. Anywho, loved the vid. Love seeing young adults that still have the old world in them. Keep up the good work and thnx for the entertainment
I came across this video by accident last week, but it interested me enough to watch most all of your other videos. I am finding them very entertaining. From the introduction, it sounds like you had a somewhat different upbringing than most of us and it seems for the better. You certainly know the value of hard work and really enjoy the outdoors. You also have a certain fearless quality as evidence by the video of you working on building the roof of the one house. And you have a certain MacGyveresque quality about you when necessary (not sure if you are familiar with the TV show). Not being inundated with social media for most of your life so far is not great loss. In your intro piece on some videos, you mention that you never went to public school. I am guessing (could be wrong) that perhaps you were home schooled. Keep up the great work and cool videos. But be careful not to burn yourself out being a TH-camr. I have seen other influencers on YT have to take time off because the demands eventually overwhelmed them. Take your time and release videos when you are able - your true fans will stand by you.
Was, well guess I still am, an Eagle Scout. My son is a Senior in HS and will finish his Eagle Scout soon. Both of us love camping. Two years ago we back packed 12 days at 12,500 feet for 73 miles. Love the outdoors. Hope you are well. Your friend in VA.
I just discovered you and you're knowledgeable and fun! You don't talk over people and waste time piling stick after stick etc. Thank you for sharing and I'm checking out your other videos. New fan from Florida 🌴
Let me just say that intro was awesome. The archery jump is everything! As far as social media goes, you're not missing much tbh. It seems like you have been living the good life with out it. Im glad you decided to join youtube though. You're a gem in the rough.
thank you. an enjoyable and informative video. i thought that was that snake going OK lets be friends its nice and warm in here lol. 1st time i have seen the fire place in a debris shelter.. very well implemented in design and using a twig stove 10/10
Would enjoy seeing your food source when in survival situations. You seem very knowledgeable about locally sourced foods. By the way you crack me up with the cussing, like a sailor at times. You’d be a blast in any hunting or fishing camp.
She has a team with her, helping her. This is why u only see her doing a little in the beginning then suddenly it's all done, she hasn't broken a sweat, and no footage of her doing the actual job . Their car is out of frame, where they have all their tools, food, water, clothes etc. She didn't just walk out in the woods in nothing but a blouse and camera in her bare hands, with no jacket for Halloween
If that garder snake lost an eye that would explain its aggressive reaction towards you; it feels vulnerable and at a disadvantage so aggressive action would be expected from him. Thank you for sharing this video it was very nice and helpful. 😊👍
Cool and good. It appears that you are alone and miles away from the nearest health centre. So, stay away from the snakes. My brave daughter, God bless you 💓
I just wanna let you know, YOU ARE AWESOME! Thank you for sharing your knowledge of survival tips, one of the best videos I've seen! Keep doing and being you! Look forward to upcoming videos!
I love survival/shelter videos.. Especially ones that talk... This video is excellent for teaching people what to do if you get stuck out in the middle of nowhere with nothing but knowledge of how to survive. But if you are really going out with a plan on what to take with you I would pack a few tarps and blankets Have you done any videos on what should be a well equipped travel pack?
Hello, Me and my friends in the mid to late 60s we would catch 4 to 5 maybe garden snakes bring them home and play with them in our sand box , build tunnels let them crawl around and let them go. Never harmed them but they did make your hands smell a little. They were never aggressive. I don't know why this one was. Any way just memories from the past. Thanks for this moment.😅
You need water and sleep to survive. Everything else, including food, is secondary. Water requires purification, sleep requires warmth and shelter. Without water and sleep you will not survive.
Survival tip Don’t play with snakes in a survival situation unless it’s going to be dinner. He might not be the snake you think he is🤔 Non venomous snakes are usually doppelgängers of venomous snakes.
How refreshingly different, authentic, and simply enchanting. Outstanding level of communication - I felt totally engaged as if I was there with you the whole time. You'd make an excellent teacher (among other things I would imagine). Well done. :D
Creek rocks... damn you're brave. I've seen more than a few of them blow up when used for making a stove. I definitely wouldn't recommend to anyone to use river or creek rocks to build something where it's going to be heated up. The water inside the rocks can make them explode, with the force of a grenade. Seriously.
I truly love bushcraft videos 👍🏻👍🏻. I also appreciate the fact that you are not freaked out by creepy crawlys, lol😅. You said you didn't get a formal education, but I think you got the best education. I can't wait for the next video.
when I was a kid in NovaScotia, there was a retired wartime airstrip. I used to go hunting snakes in the drainage culverts.. garter snakes in all colors.. The striped orange/yellow were very aggressive.. I read somewhere, some can be mildly venomous.. not sure thats true.. How warm did the shelter get with the stick fire?
Just subscribed. You certainly know your stuff. I was thinking all those dry leaves plus an open fire was rather a risk & then you pulled out that little stick stove - nice !
i've done exactly this. its not the funnest or most comfortable, that is until you fall asleep. and it's amazing how much energy living like this gives you. but not for full time ofc. you do hear the creepy crawlies near you all night. they're attracted more to your heat than you and are smart enough to no bother you, so generally don't bother them. but you get used to it and fall asleep. no, you don't have to worry about stuff crawling inside you (ears nose mouth etc). though the most uncomfortable will have ear plugs or whatever.

... Great Intro ... Good job on the debris shelter .. Only downside is common to have insects ,I.E. ,, creepy crawly bugs , ants , ticks and spiders .... Brother man. Thank you👊🪖🇺🇲
Also wounded on Route Irish ☘️ in 05. You’re not alone Brother🇺🇸

Truley inspirational....your an amazing Gal😍
So refreshing to see a real genuine woman out in the wild, loved the video
I ENJOYED YOUR VIDEO I WISH YOU GOOD LUCK IN YOUR FUTURE ADVENTURES... SAFE JOURNEYS !!
Found your channel through TH-cam algorithm, nothing a man loves more than a woman who knows her nature, beautiful and has a sense of humor
Great video, love seeing you enjoying the outdoors and hopefully inspiring other young people.
" I don't want to get bit" herrre snakey snakey lol! You're so funny! At least you called upon Jesus when in trouble! 👍 👍
I just discovered you and you're knowledgeable and fun! You don't talk over people and waste time piling stick after stick etc. Thank you for sharing and I'm checking out your other videos. New fan from Florida 🌴
I love people like you and I. unique and gifted!
Down here in Florida, if you cover up with that many leaves... you'll have 100 ticks on ya by morning. Enjoyed the video.
Here in PA too ... !
A bit of a hack use a broken branch with "forks" as a leaf rake. Works wonders for gathering leaves faster.
Not bad . A practical overnight shelter . Looks good
folks like her are inspiring.

Great that I found this channel. And now I'm hooked.😁🙏
Awesome video
Awesome ❤
Amazing skill doing that so quick with no tools. Congratulations

Awesome living, be free and God bless 🙏.
Thank you. Informative. As are some of the comments.
You are strong, confident and beautiful... I really like your adventures & presentation

Cool and good. It appears that you are alone and miles away from the nearest health centre. So, stay away from the snakes. My brave daughter, God bless you 💓
poisonous snakes arent an issue in Canada, other than the south Okanogan BC, southern Ontario etc.
One of the most impressive survival videos I've seen.
Brave, resourceful young woman. Impressive.
A great build with no tools. I really like the chimney and it worked well. All in all, nicely done. New subscriber here.
Great stuff love your videos 👍😊
Your narration is charming.
That snake didn’t want to play. Lol
Hello, my favorite so far. Looks like fun.
Do not use rocks which are wet or have been lying in water, they can explode when heated.
I just wanna let you know, YOU ARE AWESOME! Thank you for sharing your knowledge of survival tips, one of the best videos I've seen! Keep doing and being you! Look forward to upcoming videos!

I would've ran screaming at the first sight of the snake lolll You are a brave lady 👍🏼

Cool video, not too many girls make a shelter out of leaves and sticks and handle frogs and snakes on youtube. You may have found your niche'.
Girl you ate more beautiful than you know i mean inside and out great content ❤️
You need water and sleep to survive. Everything else, including food, is secondary. Water requires purification, sleep requires warmth and shelter. Without water and sleep you will not survive.
Another interesting channel I found that deserves to get a lot of milestones. Nice video and hoping you're always safe whenever you go.
Survival tip
Don’t play with snakes in a survival situation unless it’s going to be dinner.
He might not be the snake you think he is🤔
Non venomous snakes are usually doppelgängers of venomous snakes.
That looked like a legit comfy shelter and you made it so easy! Thank you!!!
WOW! A true quick survival shelter without tools. Loved it!
nice to see a female doing this sort of thing instead of a retired green beret. well done.
it takes a special person to make it out alive in the woods, not to mention a way to handle snakes or toads. Very cool and entertaining! 😅
I love this!! I'm so glad you're doing this. Awesome!!
Just glad you didn't get bitten by the snake. I mean both snake encounters 😂
13:42 If I were you, I wouldn't try to light up a fire on dry leaves 😂. Especially, if my shelter is made from leaves and twigs. Be careful next time.
As everyone saw, she had a small fire contained in the area she made specifically for that purpose. No issues.
"Snakes why did it have to be snakes ?"
Indiana Jones 😂😂
Wow just found your channel!! So freaking refreshing!! New Sub here!!! Keep them coming!!
How refreshingly different, authentic, and simply enchanting. Outstanding level of communication - I felt totally engaged as if I was there with you the whole time. You'd make an excellent teacher (among other things I would imagine). Well done. :D
Well done! Great job! I would not have leaves to be that good at shedding rain
Creek rocks... damn you're brave. I've seen more than a few of them blow up when used for making a stove. the rocks were not in the fire and rapidly heated>
I think you did a really nice job of making this video, very upbeat and inspiring
Überleben makes some great outdoors stuff and I knew your TH-cam vids would be awesome!
You did a great job making that shelter. Young lady you know your stuff😃👍
Excellent video!
great hut greetings from Russia👋
I truly love bushcraft videos 👍🏻👍🏻. I also appreciate the fact that you are not freaked out by creepy crawlys, lol😅. You said you didn't get a formal education, but I think you got the best education. I can't wait for the next video.
Amazing video!
You're pretty darn cool and sensible. I look forward to the next video.
First survival tip in Australia, if you see a snake, don't touch it, and assume it's venomous . 😂
Cool shelter and stove, I'd sleep there!
We definitely have a good lass here :)
You are awesome.
You are a wonderful inspiration to us all! K
🎉❤Love it...
If you come to Indonesia, try surviving in our rain forest..
Semoga diberikan kesempatan untuk bisa bertualang bersama
Wish i had a daughter like you !! My girls are good but you take it to another level !!
A real live mountain woman 😀🥰😍🥰
Nice job!
Nice work 😊
Very Very nice 👌🏽 👍🏻 👏

Well done. Very resourceful and good plan.
I wanna do this i love it.
And the knive 🔥🔥🔥✌️😜✌️🍀🍀🍀
Becareful gathering sandstone in creeks for fireplace or fire pits. Water soaks in and can EXPLODE when heated!
lol no shit
While that is true, she never intended to use it as a fire pit. The stick stove kept the direct heat away from the stones. So, not really a risk.
Great adventure! You should read the bible there is this whole big story about talking to snakes. 💛 Yah earned a sub 👍
Just subscribed. You certainly know your stuff. I was thinking all those dry leaves plus an open fire was rather a risk & then you pulled out that little stick stove - nice !
Very nice. Just subscribed and looking forward to future content.

This was a good educational video. Good work :)
